It's a Bad Year to Have Litigation in the [NFL]

I know if I were a gay athlete I would not look at Michael Sam's story and find inspiration there. Only fear I would be persecuted.
Really fucking sucks, I thought there was going to be real progress when he got drafted.
I'm really fucking bummed out right now

Add Jayron Hosley to the pile, also out for at least the game. 2 CBs, 2 S, and at least one season-ending injury if it's a tear for Thompson like beat writers are saying. Unbelievable awful injury luck for the team, on pace to break their own record for most injuries for the 3rd straight year

Joining up with a Serious Business auction league before, and I've only ever done snake drafts. General info:
1. We get a $300 budget that covers both the draft AND free agency.
2. Roster includes QB, offensive player, 2 RB, 3 WR, TE, 2 Flex, 5 bench.
3. Can sign players to 1-5 year contracts and carry a max of 40 years on the roster.
4. Releasing players frees up 50% of the contract value.
How much money would I want to reserve for FA? How do I decide how much money to allocate to each position? How do I get a sense of what a good rate is to lock a player into a contract? How much is too much to pay for Tim Tebow?
Would love any help I can get, I'm a bit intimidated for my first time.
Figure out whether there are one or two players that you want to blow your bank on or whether you want to try to get the guys that are good values. This will basically be the difference between spending a lot of money up front and scrambling at the end of the draft to fill out with 1 and 2 dollar guys or whether you end up spending more of your money in the middle and late rounds.
If I were you I'd spend at least $250 on the draft, the chances that a free agent is going to radically alter your season are pretty low (I THINK AS A COMPLETE NON-EXPERT).
Do the opposite of what Peen says.

For #Chargers and QB Philip Rivers, it’s a 4-year extension worth between $84-85M in new money. $65M guaranteed, source said.

FYI, that was actually our starting tight tackle. Yes, it is a problem that he's a worse pass blocker than Jimmy Graham. If only our front office and ancient IL coach could realize that before somebody actually eats Russell Wilson, that'd be great.
Accurate.
