I have no idea what the vote count is and I'm traveling home so I'm afraid of creating a last minute tie so... kime?

Huh, did a quick scroll. Looks like Kime broke a tie, between bedlam and dragon?
I'm going to go with bedlam for no reason other than to keep this thing stable.

Decisiveness was never a term ever really used to describe Phallaville, or it’s inhabitants. They are not known for their ability to find a decision, come to a consensus, or really do anything much at all. They’re a rather silly bunch, with some intriguingly blood thirsty ways.

Unfortunately for poor Bedlam the wishy-washiness of his fellow villagers ultimately led to his doom. His beard was shaved as he was led to the gallows, and the noose slipped around his neck. As he stood there, stoic as ever (he was the town preacher after all), the floor dropped from beneath his feet and his toes danced upon the air. As if that wasn’t bad enough, just as the last bits of life were going out of his body, and long after the other villagers had hung their heads in shame and left the scene of death, a dark figure crept out from beneath the gallows and finished the job off with a thin piece of piano wire.

Preda was the other stable boy. The not so innocent one. The one that all milkmaids were warned away from, and that all housewives tried to commandeer as their own. Preda was renowned in the village, although only in whispers, for his ability to command a whip to great esteem, to drive the oxen and cattle before him to plow the fields. And other things. Softer things. Stop looking at his body like that. He’s dead and size certainly does not matter at that point. Although it certainly did in life. Ahem. Sadly, the not-so-innocent stable boy was found with one of his prize horses. A jealous husband perhaps? Or maybe, something even more sinister at work. It seems the rumours of Preda’s prowess had made it to the North, and they did not like competition. But, in due deference for the young man that he was, Preda’s head was nicely placed on the body of his stallion, and the stallion’s head upon Preda’s body. The young women of the town were left to mourn and whisper, that really, there had not been much difference at all.

Dragon6860, meanwhile, pleased with his ordering the death of that well-endowed young man, settled in to a rather nice treat. His favourite soup! Turtle. It was made from the rather large turtled found in the village’s streams and woods. It was a delicious treat and the old man was eager to have the supply back into his hands once again. Of course, Dragon6860 (not his real name) was old, he had been at this game for a long time, and his senses have softened. While settling in, buttering his bread, and dunking it into the green turtle soup, he did not notice that it was indeed green. They say that the vomiting stopped at some point, but whether that was before or after his heart has exploded from the pressure, none are ever likely to be sure. But the North has lost their leader, and what had once been light-hearted takeover of a town was now War.

Everybody loves ice cream. It’s a known fact. All over the world. So it was especially exciting for the children of Phallaville to see an Ice Cream shop set up. Even though it’s autumn. Ice cream can always be enjoyed year round! And with the delicious bevy of flavours available, the children were able to come and go and get as many cones as possible. But, it was hard not to notice the beet-red color of the new flavour that appeared on this fine morning. Jdarksun was the name of the flavour, and the notes below it included “a fine crisp taste of wine, a delicate balance of sarcasm and wit, and a bit of brutish flavour that will hit you in the mouth and not let go! Not to be missed!”

And so, another traumatic day within Phallaville was concluded. With every mother in town mourning, every husband in town feeling self-conscious, and every child in town wanting more ice cream.

jpants for indecision and a throwaway vote when the vote was tight between mafia and not mafia. Regular folk had no reason to fear this decision.

Getting voted out for intentionally creating a tie is actually a very real thing. Also, it's generally not in the village's interest to have a tie.

I wasn't avoiding a decision i was avoiding a tie. If someone would have posted a count i would have probably voted for whoever was highest to prevent vote manip shenanigans (i think this game is pretty vanilla but better safe than sorry).

I sympathize. However, you could have potentially allowed a tie by not voting, since you didn't gloss over the day's vote counts. I understand family obligations restricting such luxuries.
Very well, I think it's important to get a vote out early, so don't let mine concern you too much.

Of course, Virgil voted late for the villager and immediately tried to start a bandwagon.

    Not a great look!

The idea that your vote is a moral statement about you or who you vote for is some backwards ass libertarian nonsense. Your vote is about society. Vote to protect the vulnerable.

I'll go ahead and put a vote on Grunt's Ghosts for now as he was on Bedlam.

  • Virgil_Leads_YouVirgil_Leads_You Proud Father House GardenerRegistered User regular
Eh, immediately making a vote after reading the narration is my historic style. Waiting till the end of the day for your first vote is more suspect, as it suggests collaboration (also you won't make lonelyahava mad by forgeting). I had technically voted early last time as well.

Voting on the largest bandwagon at the end of a litany of last minute votes is the most village thing. If I knew what was going on as mafia, I would have left my vote and let kime take the blame.

That was quite the plain vote post from !kime, and very late on during a series of Mafia/non-Mafia votes. I am suspicious of his motives.
