But I would think Steve Rogers: Director of SHIELD would be a thing that A) people would want to see and be something pretty important since he is a founding Avenger and is now top cop of the world and also his former sidekick is now Captain America
It would be way easier to just kill him off and have him be a figure of inspiration for heroes and specifically Bucky as he becomes Cap

I really wish people would independently verify stuff before reacting to it. Even if it comes from a source I trust, I've seen too many cases where misunderstanding and misinterpretations cause false news to propagate. Just a quick Google search could resolve so many would-be freak-outs.
