Wouldn't it be awesome if the Arkham Knight is actually Dexter Douglass?

    No I don't.

The mgs demo seemed to imply that you can give quiet some actual god damn clothes after all, so at least in that regard I'm relieved

That actually just ticks me off more. They have actually cloths for her but they make the default that?

That and the bomb in the demo make me so creeped out by this game.

Turns out "you'll be ashamed of your words and deeds" was just past Kojima trying to give future Kojima a warning.

MGS is the game that I'm most conflicted about. I keep swinging between wanting to pre-order it and thinking I should wait awhile to get it. And not just because of the gross Quiet stuff. That most recent demo opened with them talking about in-game microtransactions, and swearing that they'll be totally innocuous little stuff you can totally ignore. But I don't really trust a company that makes their money from casinos and pachinko machines to implement that shit in a fair and benevolent manner.

    No

It's for speeding up the missions you can send soldiers on

    Oh

I didn't watch the demo because I wanna go in fresh

But if it's anything like peace walker, outer ops is almost entirely perfunctory

I don't know who this Quiet person you folks are talking about is, I'm pretty sure Big Boss's only companions are a dog with an eyepatch, a stealth horse, and a robit with rollerblades

    Speaking of MGSV

Not really spoilers, just something I heard about a demo
Can you choose non-Big Boss characters to play during missions?

the big gameplay demo from this year said you could choose any member from Mother Base. In the demo the on screen menu had Snake, 2 ladies named Scowling Dhole and Sadistic Kitten, and a dude named Vile Crab, plus a scroll bar for others

Yeah it looked like the random soldier that you balloon back to your base all have unique stats and stuff, and get a cool code name when you've recruited them. Being able to play as any of them sounds really interesting.

Peace walker has the same mechanics, you can also train soldiers and level them up

Iirc though big boss is almost always the best choice

Is Solid Snake named David because of Hayter

He isn't actually. For a long time he is, but his stats are capped out at all A's, and his health and psyche are both set at 6666. He also doesn't have any special skills.

Eventually, you can get soldiers that are S rank in all their stats and have health and psyche of 9999. That takes a lot of grinding though.

It is pretty easy to get soldiers that are better than BB in one or two areas, or that have special skills that make certain missions easier.
