Zelda's mastersword looks like it got dipped in Smash Link's peestick.
Ganondorf, when viewed front on, has a goofy smirk going.
Can't wait to get home and add them to the noise

Also to be fair, none of this stuff is being added to the original 9 1/2 year old version of the game.
It is kind of noteworthy since this is pretty much the last planned content update. Will be interesting to see what they have in store with the next entry, which I'm guessing will be announced next year for 2025
I am very curious what they'll do. I'd love if they just finally decided to go full Super Smash Karts or whatever where they just say fuck it and bring in a bunch of different Nintendo characters for once :P This game was the first time they sort of opened Mario Kart up to extras like Link, Isabelle, Inklings, etc.

So my Noah and Mio are shipped and was supposed to be here today. Unfortunately I'm in Tennessee and am stuck at home due to tons of snow and ice that have made driving very dangerous right now so it's delayed until the driver can deliver mail safely.
This past week has been awful as one of our pipes burst from the freeze and we went without water for two days. We were finally able to cap off the broken pipe so we have water in part of the house and not in the other part of the house. This at least gives us water until we thaw out and can get a plumber here to repair the damage.
Gives me a bit of hope that we'll see a reprint of Pyra/Mithra one day at least.
I've noticed they tend to be doing these when a big game that uses them comes out. IIRC they reprinted Shulk when Xenoblade 3 came out. So maybe a Xenoblade 4 will prompt a reprint? :P

I bought it separately in the US fwiw
Ok, I'm just imagining it then. Maybe it was that they didn't produce a ton of the standalone ones so a lot of people had to get through the bundle *shrug*
I dread the next smash and new fighters but also give me astral chain amiibo
And yes I did make them all fight in a series of 12 eight player smashes and then a 12 amiibo victory tournament.

nfc removal would only matter if they made them cheaper and I. do not think they would do that

Was a bit worried when my Sora amiibo was delayed at Best Buy but then it shipped out the other day, so phew :P
And yeah, it definitely feels like Nintendo has been trying to ramp down the creation of new amiibos. They'll do them for really big titles like Zelda but you aren't really seeing any of the oddball ones anymore (maybe the closest thing is Capcom still tends to do them for things like Monster Hunter). I imagine they kinda know it's more of a collector item than something people actually care about using so they're gonna focus on stuff they think people will actually care about collecting. And with no more Smash amiibo coming I imagine the number of new ones we get will go down even more now. (at least until they announce the next Smash Bros and do new amiibo for every fighter again XD)
You have a point, as Game Grumps videos, the ones on the bad games are leagues better. And as a game, Arzette seems at a mid-point between "decently fun platformer" and "bad in ways that were not necessary, except for the homage." I still think the cutscenes have some funny stuff going on in them, that's keep me going on these episodes.

Oh no please understand I don't want to make it sound like I am saying the videos are bad or anything. I'm sure they're fun! I just watched the first few and decided that was enough for me. I'm honestly glad someone's getting some enjoyment out of it.
Yeah, I wasn't saying you were being mean or anything, I have to agree they're not as good as the CDi videos, which are all time classics of the channel. The issue with Arzette is that it's a decent game made by a passionate team for a niche audience. So the Grumps probably didn't feel right going, "Wow, this part sucks!" in a funny way. And also, because the development was more competent, it mostly didn't suck. And it's also funny on purpose, instead of accidentally funny by happenstance. So there was less to latch onto in a lot of ways. Ultimately, maybe more fun to play than to comment on, but I was still into it, as a short series.
Picked up a Cloud, Dark Samus, regula Samus, and Pit on this latest restock. Was iffy on the Pit but needed something for free shipping and Cloud P2 was sold out, so he's next best choice.

I'd love it if different amiibo unlocked more objects/enemies to summon with the tri-hard staff. Like just fun things like stuff from other Zelda games or even stuff from different franchises (ex: scan wolf link summons a cute wolf link enemy). Like, stuff that wouldn't be significantly different from what you can get in the game normally but just has fun appearances.
Knowing Nintendo it will just heal you or something tho.

Lol where is that from?
There's definitely been a couple (mostly on PC mind you) but it's for sure a rare thing for Nintendo.

"Erm.. get away from her you bitch. nyeheheheh!"
The meaning of the season (for this one YT channel at least).
Find all of the things.
"Maybe next year our daughter will love us..."

Miss them no longer, they're great!
(I don't know how to feel about 40 year old Dan still having EXACTLY this sense of humor).

Honestly, it's a different situation, but it FEELS as Grump Core as the Fan created ROM for more Kirby's Dream Course levels.
Moar faux CDi action.
NSP + guest Tom Cardy!
Oh man do I have a song for you... It's my favorite of his:
He's famous for funny music, like NSP is. Most recently "Perception Check."
*high five*
The fairy cutscene is the first one that really got my attention in this game, wow.
It is hilarious.
Christina talking to Danny and Arin like they're five year olds the entire time really sells the episode for me lol.
Damn. This is dope. Heavy Gothic cover with Danny? Hell yeah.
Episodes 4
and 5. 5 says in the comments that they're going to clear the rest of the game in one more episode, on the 18th.
As promised, a meaty finale episode. I'm still working my way through it.

This is a really good ad campaign, lol.
This is one of those games that every design decision makes you go "...but why?"
The... adventure(?) continues.
Check THIS shit out.
