I guess it says a lot about my journey as a person that I probably wouldn't have reacted well, when I was younger, to the idea of Steve and Bucky being in love
Something about it would have threatened my sense of the masculine, I think, though I wouldn't have articulated it that way at the time
Nowadays though

Can you imagine if the movie just ended with a shot of them holding hands or something
The Earth would fucking split in half and the best, most central character from the most lucrative movie franchise in the world would be queer

What a wild idea
Beyond their status in film, the idea that the guy who wears the American flag as part of his uniform and the guy with the red star on his shoulder would be gay and in a relationship with one another would be amazing. Especially now, the idea that the two men who symbolize American and Russian masculinity to a huge extent have the hots for one another would be mind blowing.
A couple years ago my brother-in-law's girlfriend was drunk and angry and stabbed our copy of Nextwave with a knife. This was before I finished reading it. I recently got a new copy so I can read it in full.

So, I'm at a bar and reading Nextwave.
We kept the stabbed copy though
One day I hope to have Ellis and Immonen stab it right on the page that was slashed

We've talked about them signing the page, but I'm cool with this as well.
Jessica telling Trish to put the bullet in her mouth and then "there you go, it's in your head, now knock it off" was really clever and the sort of loophole you only see on internet forums full of people who go "well this is how I would beat it"

JK Simmons is the perfect JJJ.
I don't like the Raimi Spider-man trilogy, but I loved every second of screentime Simmons had. It was perfect.
They missed the chance with Ultron but the end credit scene for Civil War should totally be JK Simmons as J Jonah Jameson yelling at his staff about the events of the movie, getting interviews with Captain America and Iron Man, and how the Avengers are a menace, ending with him saying, "Parker, get me pictures!"

It's just a shame we won't get to see Spider-man reading off his urgent list of things to say to the Kingpin.
Humor can be dissected as a frog can, but dies in the process.

JK Simmons should just pull a Judi Dench as M. Transcend those actors playin' the lead.

So when do we start combing over the trailer footage to find the one pixel that is Paul Rudd?
Well, I'm hooked on Jessica Jones. Turns out having a non torture-happy protagonist is what I wanted the whole time!
But what I really want after seeing episode 3 and 4 is
A goddamn Hellcat series, pleeeaase.
I think it is absolutely goddamn brilliant how they handled that character's origin
giving an explicit nod to the fact that comics Hellcat started as an Archie-esque teen romcom book with Timely comics? In the comics that origin was explained as her mother publishing comics about her as a child, making this perhaps the most comics-faithful origin in the MCU yet.
Now she just needs to briefly date the literal Son of Satan, and then adopt the costume of a vigilante from the 70s who has since been mutated into an actual cat-person.

On the other hand, JK Simmons is so point for point perfect for JJJ it almost feels like a shame to not use him.
However, you're also doing very early Spider-man so why would you not also take the chance to do Silk, but do the origin better than the comics?

Wait what if they got Elizabeth Banks to be JJJ and JK Simmons played her assistant

In the "traditional" definition of queer, yeah, sure.
It's more transhumanist than anything.
I'd call this more kinky

Keep it away from glass bottles, just to be safe.

"Hahahahahaha. Hahahahahahahaha. Oh. You're serious."
Makes me wish they took more from it, but the way they didn't meant we got that Hollywood arc so that turned out okay
