Regarding Their Story, it''s Chinese so if it's the phrase i think is being used, the "I'm pursuing you" isn't quite as odd as it sounds. In Chinese, when someone is said to be trying to get into a romantic relationship with someone, one description uses the verb that translates as "to chase". This is probably what's being translated? Some nuance is probably lost, but I think it sufficiently gets the point across, since "pursuing romance" is a thing in English.
Disclaimer: I haven't seen the raws so I am making a guess as to the original characters used in the dialogue.
The translators usually seem to do a very very fast translation job, which is great in that we don't have to wait around to find out what they're saying, but they do tend to often choose kinda clunky literal word choices.
A trap is for fish: when you've got the fish, you can forget the trap. A snare is for rabbits: when you've got the rabbit, you can forget the snare. Words are for meaning: when you've got the meaning, you can forget the words.

My money was not on Sigrun being the first one to die/be horribly mutilated.

yeah, 追 is "chase/chasing" so she is using the words I assumed she was using. More literally, she said "I am chasing you" in an effort to clarify her earlier statement of "I like you".

She could be super embarassed, she could be upset because she views their friendship up to this point as 'means to an end', or she could just not be into ladies!
Or she could be realizing her feelings and be a little freaked out and needs time to think it out.
Just for context this is on a website named Yaoizone
it's pretty obvious this is what's going on

I think she's smashing its head in with the butt of her rifle.
I have never heard someone saying something like this directly to someone's face though
This will be here until I receive an apology or Weedlordvegeta get any consequences for being a bully

I knew I was colourblind, but now I'm wondering if I even know what a colour is.
That scene will look so much better in a book.

Are...are you George Lucas
nah it gets those connotations from a modern dating context
(modern in the sense of being post-1920s)
at least as long as i've been alive i've heard it used that way many times in TV shows and movies and such
it still retains normal meaning when in like...combat context or whatever though.
But...

North World: Epic of Conrad ran as a webcomic in 2007-2008. The original webcomic site is now down, but the comic is available on the author's website. It has also been published by Oni Press as a paperback
