Gah, had two trailers for Tarzan in fron of X-Men today, one at the beginning of the trailer run (it tied into some charity thing), and then the real trailer just before the movie.
I didn't realize it has the coveted July 4th weekend spot, I just don't see it making any money unless China really loves it (and it might be so riddled with hidden communist bullshit they will like it)

The actual story trailer is also light on detail and more about tone, which is refreshing compared to a lot of film and tbh video game trailers these days
you can infer a lot about mechanics, but only a small amount of plot and then only what the initial plot layout will be, which what a trailer really should be imo, it should entice, not explain.
