Knicks go on a 12-game win streak in the name of Oakley

Of course you're joking but no Zen Mastery is going to fix a bad roster. Jackson has fucked up with alienating Melo and being a PR nightmare but the primary issue is almost every roster related decision outside of drafting KP has been terrible.

Willy Hernangomez has worked out pretty well, too.

I can't even say that I'm in a rush to see Phil go, because the next guy isn't going to be any better. That's been proven.

James Dolan fired the chief of MSG security for unexplained reasons. I rarely cite an Around the Horn talking head for anything but Plaschke calling Dolan's Knicks the new Sterling Clippers I think is pretty accurate.

The effort that Dolan and his people are putting into this is nuts. They released something like 5,000 words of witness statements to the media.

Oakley could have punched a baby and then eaten it, and he'd still have more public support, you lunatic. Just let it go...

    Mr Bierman

You are a sad person. Why would anybody write such a hateful letter. I am.just guessing but ill bet your life is a mess and you are a hateful mess. What have you done that anyone would consider positive or nice. I am betting nothing. In fact ill bet you are negative force in everyone who comes in contact with you. You most likely have made your family miserable. Alcoholic maybe. I just celebrated my 21 year anniversary of sobriety. You should try it. Maybe it will help you become a person that folks would like to have around. In the mean while start rooting.for the Nets because the Knicks dont want you.

    Respectfully

    James Dolan

For me that just makes Jordan look more impressive. He's several inches shorter than Giannis and took off (IIRC) slightly further away.

Drexler could dunk from the free throw line too and yeah there's a very good reason Michael's first nickname was "Air"

McGee legit scares me. He gets so many easy dunk opportunities and a lot of playoff teams (including Cleveland) can't protect the rim.

NBA commissioner Adam Silver said he and Michael Jordan spoke with Charles Oakley and Knicks owner James Dolan on Monday to bring the public dispute between Oakley, one of the franchise's most popular players, and Dolan, to rest.

Oakley and Dolan met with Silver on Monday at NBA headquarters, with Jordan participating by phone, the league said in a statement. It said both Dolan and Oakley apologized for the fallout from Oakley's arrest after an altercation with Madison Square Garden security guards during a Knicks game last Wednesday.

"Both Mr. Oakley and Mr. Dolan were apologetic about the incident and subsequent comments, and their negative impact on the Knicks organization and the NBA," Silver said.

The statement says Dolan hopes Oakley can return to MSG as his guest in the near future.

Silver's statement also singled out Oakley, Dolan and Jordan's efforts for all coming together to "work towards a resolution of this matter."

Earlier Monday, sources with knowledge of the situation told ESPN's Ian Begley that there has been "some momentum toward a resolution" between Oakley and Dolan, thanks to recent conversation between both sides.
