I should let you guys know that I have my brother make the picks for me just for fun, but he chose not to ROW THE DANG BOAT this week and I've never been more disappointed in him.
1) Kenny Allen cost me the week's win, dammit.
2) That Malik McDowell ejection was completely absurd, speaking as a Michigan partisan.
3) Sparty, NOOOOOOOOOO
Self-righteousness is incompatible with coalition building.
Whoa stats posted really early! Lots going on here too: Jack McCoy (a dog) went from last in the previous week to middle of the pack here, the Pick 'Em organizers are now in a contentious tie overall, 2 out of 3 winners this week missed placing any bets for the first week, the top three overall all scored 7 points this week, there are three new people in the top 10, and the only one to score a perfect week has claimed the top spot.

It has been really fun watching my brother's death-spiral the past few weeks, let me tell you.

This week, I got utterly destroyed in the pick-em by my dog, who doesn't even like football.
1) I think I take Indiana to cover those 32.5 points.
2) SI is saying Texas is choosing the stupidest possible option of leaking that they'll fire Strong after the year. I've heard Texas' AD is Brandon-ish so that maybe shouldn't surprise me. Strong has relieved Bedford of defensive playcalling responsibilities.
3) Michigan's starting LT Grant Newsome is out for the year after his knee got exploded by a DB diving at his legs when he was pulling. A week too late for him to get the redshirt that was pulled from him last year, too.
Self-righteousness is incompatible with coalition building.
I don't think any decision is final on firing Strong. He demoted Bedford finally to DB coach with Jennings and will take over the defense fully including play calling. Hopefully that can make some seriously good difference for us and Bedford can teach them to run their tackles over. If this turns the season around Strong stays in for sure.
Also Perrin was at Strong's press conference, probably to show support. And Fenves makes the final call, and he's not a guy to fire a coach until the end of the season when all things are considered.
e: I think the ND game really hurt us. Most people (myself included) came into the season hoping for 8-4 and MAYBE 9-3. Winning against ND and having OU lose to top ranked schools put the presser on real bad.
So, turns out that the fat kicker jokes might not really be all that funny or appropriate anymore. I'm glad that he is getting help and feels like he can be open about it though. Not the easiest thing for anyone to open up about.

It must be a hard life where beating Notre Dame hurts your program.
I was tempted to go this weekend but my SO is working literally the entire weekend so I'll just watch it after the OU sucks matchup.

Hurricane Matthew is tracking to side swipe the SC/NC/VA coasts on Saturday according to the latest weather projection. ACC Conference posted that schools are monitoring the situation but no delays/cancellations announced yet.
Top 25 games that may be affected include:
Virginia Tech at North Carolina
Houston at Navy (Annapolis)
Michigan at Rutgers (if the storm gets that far north between 7:00-10:30 PM)
Florida St. at Miami (more post-hurricane cleanup issues than live weather)
LSU at Florida might be a bit soggy at game time Saturday, as well.

it's a reference to the MSU-IU rivalry trophy, the Old Brass Spittoon
there is an MSU sex move, though
it's just regular sex, but you do it on a burning couch
Hell yeah it was.
I really thought Louisville had it too. Lamar Jackson was very poised until the end.

At the rate oregon is digressing they'll be lucky to score 3 tds next week.
In the meantime they still have no defense so....
Brady Hoke is involved, you'll be fine.

Yeah, that really soured me on Clemson. I'm sure lots of shit goes on in those piles, but there have to be limits.
I mean, we won. But words hurt, y'know?
