Omg it's surreal to hear him talking about Gamnesia. I spent a lot of time in that particular little corner of the internet. I hope that reporter isn't getting too many death threats, he's a pretty cool guy.
The nose dive in women doing computer science is attributed to the same thing - that all of the marketing for early home computers was targeted toward boys, and by the time they got to college age, women had only a fraction of the time messing around with computers that men had. So the seminal period of coding and computer science was basically 100% men.
It featured a new version of Public Enemy's Harder Than You Think, but I guess the license on it ran out or something. Public Enemy uploaded a music video for the song, though, so at least there's still that:
Ooh, just realized I get to pimp my friend Andy's appearance in a Japanese Dead Rising 2 commercial! My favorite part of this might be how "sweaty" he is (they kept spraying him down with a spray bottle constantly, apparently). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OrvP9kxAcMo

Humor can be dissected as a frog can, but dies in the process.
The game they talk about seems really awesome, but I think they minimized the emphasis on just how hard it would be for another company to create comparable tech to what's used in Pokemon Go. Ingress was only possible because they had direct access to the Google Maps database. It took them four years of Ingress to build up the data they use to make Pokemon Go work, and even that has some huge gaps in it.

They've also lost 15 million users in the last month.
I've gone down a rabbit hole of people playing Arcade games, and I've just found this couple playing arcade games. Crystal sounds like someone combined Kristen Schaal's and Russi Taylor's voices into a single being. I keep hoping she's going to drop an "Uncle Scroooooge!"
