    Huh. It turns out there are different colour horse patronuses too, though I expect they all just look silver.

    There are also red or grey squirrels, but they're a bit different in shape as well as colour.

    cursory research points to it being real. And pretty useful if you live and work in sprint-friendl areas.

    Its super tempting to get the 500 dollar portable hotspot version and then drastically reduce my shared data plan and save a shitload of money...

    But I know that I am just paying extra for convenience of not having to pair up with a hotspot and probably will keep doing that.

    But a younger, more frugal me would use this for home and cell data and be super happy

    $41 per month for mobile internet is not bargain basement, but if it's unlimited that's half price, maybe less than half price.

    Not necessarily. It might be that he's a beagle animagus and can take on beagle form whenever he wants.

    yeah there is a collective stupidity. when i self-banned from here I found myself browsing their comments section more and more until I realized it was an absolute wasteland for discourse filled with misinformation and bandwagoning.

    Someone suggested to me that carrying null references on in languages that don't use true pointers was a tremendous mistake and that there should be no such thing as a variable that doesn't hold an object.

    I think I agree. It flips a lot of design patterns on their heads but I think in the end it's a really good idea. Kill null.

    Some of the other patronus results people have been less than thrilled with are dragonfly, rat, wood mouse, hedgehog and pig.

    Personally I find all of those cute, especially in silvery wispy magic form.
