So, Thorn bounty. Is there any reason to prioritize it, considering I have a Y2 thorn? Either way I'm going to have to feed a thorn up, so it's just another little fun thing to do but not actually important, right? Or is there something special.

Razelighter does way way way more damage
It's one of the exotic quests to complete your Book. So if you do it, that's one quarter of the Life Exotic quest completed.
I would go with the Appended Mag + Hidden Hand roll, myself. I see the hand-laid stock and braced frame as perks to avoid on LMGs, as they reduce desirable stats.

There was no year 2 thorn.
You have a year 1 thorn.
The other issue with the new sword is it has a habit of shooting who you hit up in the air because of the attack animation for some reason. This can be troublesome because you can knock the captain off the map and then you have lost the shock cannon.
If I don't read spoilers my first eventual run can still be sort of "blind", right? :bigfrown:

The axe does that too some of the time when ground-slamming. It looks bizarre and doesn't actually seem to damage the enemies who bounce off the ground.
Note: It was never a streak. They have also improved Imprecation twice to make it easier.
Haha yeah, woo. That quest would be just about the toughest quest in the game if it had you get a streak of 7 precision kills with the imprecation.

Just from my couple tries last night on the final boss. The Mechanics of the fight seem a LOT less complicated than the Oryx battle.

Yeah its mostly just extended execution. Just like anything else either more time practicing technique or higher light levels will probably trivialize it.
Plus, no one is ever in the damn forge. =P
The Oryx fight in King's Fall is ridiculously complicated so that wouldn't be hard.

Raid, faction rep (Vanguard, Variks, Petra, Eris, DO, NM, FWC), items decrypting to exotics.
It is a pretty good roll. Not sure if it will hit the range cap with aggressive ballistics though.
Yeah, I do this for CoO too.
Archons Forge can give 365+ loot, but only Class items for some really dumb reason, the rest of the loot seems to cap at 365.
