Hey guys, so I got into collecting a little late, and just joined the site. I've met some real nice folks for trades/sales, and it struck me that the site could use a friends list (or Pal List?). I know it's a bit of work, but thought I'd say something.

I agree with @InterestingMix - updates to the site are best kept for that forum conversation - as the developer frequently posts there. I run the facebook fan page for that site which you can find here: https://www.facebook.com/PinnyPals/ (shameless plug), which if nothing else - will also keep you up to date on site happenings and other pin notifications. For instance, the Pinnypals After Dark podcast is currently running a competition for parody song lyrics. If you are looking for community meetups, they happen sporadically throughout the year, so keep an eye on these forums.

Hi marg, I maintain the site. I suppose since this is here, I'll just say it's a good recommendation if the community already didn't have many avenues for keeping track of friends Once you get in to the other community areas, I think this feature feels a bit redundant.

The site isn't really a social hub, it's mostly focused on trading and being a database. It had plans for pin groups and what not but it really seemed it would be under utilised against the time spent developing it.
