Weird "Permission Denied" Error

So, I tried to post something in the Shadowrun thread in G&T, and got this odd error message.

Is that intentional?

Vanilla actually has /me functionality, but you dont have permissions to use it, so yes. It might go if you put a space in it.

I've seen a bunch of people use this in the past. Was it restricted recently? Just curious.
