Infinity and Secret Wars are the only things i could even have some argument for
And hell, if you're not into cosmic stuff i'd understand not liking those too
Yeah Secret Wars is probably the best one I can think of? But it wasn't really my bag. Too many shortcuts in the actual event that I'm guessing I didn't follow due to not buying tie-ins.

The only tie ins that came close to explaining anything in the main plot were Thors and Siege, and I wouldn't call them essential (though they are good and worth reading)
why is it that the only idea for hulk's supporting cast that has been used in the past decade is "make them a hulk?"
Nah, Betty and Rick and General Ross got depowered in a story arc back in 2015.
How did that story end exactly by the way? I think I remember it involved the Hulk getting mind-boosted by Extremis and then deciding all the Hulk-like characters had to depowered. Wasn't it hinted too that the personality that was born from said mind-boosting was the closest thing to the Maestro the Hulk would get to in the 616?

Whatever you say, atme.
Humor can be dissected as a frog can, but dies in the process.
I thought the Messiah storyline for X-Men was a pretty good trilogy of Messiah Complex, Messiah War, and Second Coming were good events for the X-titles.

Didn't have any tie-in minis or one-shots, and it didn't affect anything outside of the Inhumans and X-Men books.
I feel exactly the same. And I generally liked them.

Like, it had 5 series tie-in and a standalone book
What would it be if not an event
A book doesn't have to tie into dozens of comics to be an event, look at Annihilation!
world war hulk was the last good event
Guess who is gunna say Final Crisis? Guess.
i know
world war hulk ended a month after sinestro corps or i woulda used this as my answer
i loved it. even though i am kinda bummed it lead to the rainbow lanterns
What a shock!
A change I'm okay with, but Marvel just craves that sweet sweet status quo, don't they?

Superhero comics in general do, yeah.

well
shit
Annihilation
World War Hulk
Annihilation: Conquest
Siege
Infinity Secret Wars
Sinestro Corps War
Final Crisis
Yeah, they now also have the idea for Hulk supporting cast of "make them not a hulk anymore"

Let's Play Final Fantasy 'II' (Ch10 - 5/17/10)
progress!
house of m is better than all of those, but it falls outside the 10 year window
don't @ me
what of it
if sinestro corps counts, so does planet hulk
bullshit
Planet Hulk, had, like an annual?
world war hulk led to the stupidest arguments I've ever seen about comics and that is not a statement I throw around lightly
