This may seem like a silly question, but does anyone know how to unbind secondary fire from L3 on the PS4? My controller is a bit wonky and its throwing off my D.Va game if the defense matrix keeps popping up, unbidden.

placed 2559 but had the worst time of it, went 4-6, barely anyone was ever in voice comms besides our trio, incompetent junkrats everywhere, tanks who didn't know how to tank
the whole time i was expecting to get put in silver again
hopefully the games improve now once we stop getting placed with people playing comp for the first time
Placements ended 5-5, although it might have been 7-3 easily if two very very close games ended just the tiniest tad luckier. Practically ranked where I ended the last season, which I can live with!

The last couple matches I played of FFA DM now that all maps are cycled in were pretty un-fun. In one round, 3 then 4 of the players were junkrats just dominating the map together. The next, it was the same thing with S76 and McCrees. Just... no fun.

I saw was on the receiving end of one tonight. Mystery heroes on Eichenwald the defending team had 2 orisa's with a bastion set up just to the right of the spawn door and 2 pharah's flying above.
PotG started at like 00:02 of the match.
I just get slaughtered when I play with Reinhardt in deathmatch but then I am only playing 4v4 and my teammates don't want to seem to want to play as a team

My first four 4v4s last night were terrible cause pugs were pugging. Then I got a group who used comms and played as a group and they invited me. Went 8 for 10 then.
And strangely I'm better at countering Pharah as Pharah than as soldier. I can air hit rockets but can't keep a hitscan on her.

My dad has to get surgery and is gonna be off his feet for a while, so he's learning to play
But he doesn't have a ton of console shooter experience (he's more than capable at PC shooters, but he hasn't regularly played consoles since the N64, so adjusting to multiple analog sticks is taking time)
Anyway, I have to disown him, because he's a Junkrat Main.

CP don't mean anything in terms of skill. You get competitive points by playing competitive and can spend 3000 to get a golden weapon. That's it.
You'll get your skill rating once you've completed all your placements.

But for the 9 wins = 3 boxes, you just need top 4
