well, genres is just a way to sort pictures with similar traits

german expressionism is usually really colourful and stark, which is what i like

    for example:

(bit of a bad photo though)

    oh yeah, I know.
I'm just saying that I have no discernible pattern for liking styles of art.
I like particular pieces, not styles.

My one deal breaker is that I want artists to be talented in their medium, not just have a good explanation.
    if that makes sense.

edit: for instance, "Found Art" can be interesting, and a talking point, but I don't really see it as art that can be attributed to it's collector.

Romeo Dallaire's book Shake Hands With the Devil is being made into a movie, but it doesn't look like it's going to be a thing.

Edit: Ummm, has anyone read The Lucifer Effect? I can't wait to get my hands on it.

If it is a sour mash (Jack Daniels) i usually like it with diet coke

If its bourbon (Jim Beam) i like it with 7up or Sprite.

And and a pack of full flavored cigarettes.

I don't know man, the higher you go in English the more specialized you get. Freshman year you are reading stories by everybody, by the time you hit 400 level classes you are dealing with specific classic on Faulkner and Graham Greene.

    I prefer the variety.
