I have nothing against federation force in a vacuum, just presented as it was felt like pissing on the grave of the mainline metroid games. Now that they're apparently trying to make metroid again I'm much more inclined to cut it some slack.
This is why I will always side with Nintendo against its fans, because so many of them believe dumb shit like this, that Nintendo wants to purposely screw them over and ruin series they like. They were never doing that! People just took a very short sighted view of their release schedule!
Also, I'm just getting around to Captain Toad Treasure Tracker, and this game is a gem.

I finished Samus Returns.
Eeeeeehhh?
It's not like, super bad. Just like, frustratingly mediocre with a few REAL bad spots. Mostly boss fights.
The maps poorly laid out, the new power ups are kinda meh. The slow time thing is basically just a speed boost for a map not designed to handle the speed boost. The difficulty curve is all over the place. Normal missiles are really useless.
End spoilers, even if you've played the original
Ridley is straight up immune to normal missiles.
Speaking of, man just having Ridley show up at the end there kinda stinks. Also he has to get up and fly away like right after Samus takes off for the beginning of Super to make sense.
The little nod to Fusion after the credits was nice though.
So you know how Nintendo doesn't want to make new F-Zeros but loves making Mario Karts? Apparently that's baked right into the franchise
Mario Kart started out as an attempt to make a 2-player F-Zero, but they couldn't fit that onto a SNES cartridge, so they ended up making more winding courses, which required slower speed vehicles, hence it became a kart racer.
F-Zero is fantastic. The gamecube version might be my favorite Nintendo game. It's buttery smooth performance, controls great, and is tough on the hard difficulties, but still very fair.
I don't actually know how the Switch compares to the 360 and PS3 in terms of power, I just realised.
Fucken, a portable version of GTAV that looks good would be pretty sweet.
the switch is above both of those in terms of power, the biggest issue with the switch is storage space (especially if the publisher doesn't swing for 32gb cards) assuming everything else is able to be run by its specs

I feel like the majority of switch owners probably have a high capacity card though. Bethesda seems to be banking on that at least with Doom I'm sure they're privy to data about that
I have a podcast now. It's about video games and anime!Find it here.

ohhhhh is that what this poll is? no wonder the leaders are so strange.
You can't breakdance with the cutter ability, Bahamut.
Steam: pazython
oh, yeah I didn't know this was the thing going on
Regular Varia is my favorite character design in video games hands down, but Light suit is real good.

Even Nintendo agrees, look how they changed the colors for Samus Returns.
Which is why everyone needs to vote for sleeping Kirby so that they have to make a moveset for it

Here is what the back of the box says about them
It is gonna kill me to not play that game immediately
which is probably good because it means i have to sit and wait to see if the game is actually good before i buy it

The switch is a portable system though! Just find a wi-fi connection to DL it
The new version, Psychic Spectres comes out Friday as well.

Ooh, did they finally give a firm release date?
excuse me i do a wonderful impression of F-Zero listen

It is terrible. But that music man. That music.
I cannot imagine a Switch version of GTA would be anything other than...let’s be generous and say “very compromised”
I'll probably still buy it.
...what?
Why? It ran fine on 360/PS3. It would probably just be that version.

Cause there's just dead naked ladies in that, and Nintendo's fearful for children's purity.
there's a lot i would like to see removed from gtaV so i'm actually interested in this
They are putting Doom and Wolfenstein II on the Switch. I think Nintendo has gotten over that a little bit since the old days,
It's tough on the easy difficulties, too.

That is true. The direct did just flat-out say "fight these Nazi fuckers."

When was the last time Nintendo stopped a game being released on their platform for content reasons? Has it actually happened since the SNES?
