capcom why are you making my choices on who to play so hard
for reference, in S2 you got basically nothing for hitting that except v-bar, you were mildly +, but couldn't advance, leaving you out of range for a big combo
it really seems based on the last few days of twitter that the patch notes capcom put out are incomplete at best, and more likely "completely worthless"
there's a ton of stuff coming out that wasn't even mentioned, some of it very consequential to the characters
Played two matches of the beta, had a close match my first time because I was trying to learn things with my characters while my opponent just kept trying to rush me down. Rematched him, but this time focused on defense and kept punishing him. Also I don't think he knew how to tag, so I kind of obliterated him. From what little I've played I did enjoy Piccolo. Didn't get too much done with Beerus except spawn his big ki ball field, then my opponent dashed into it and got ricocheted between them while I pounded his face in a bit. Tried Adult Gohan as my anchor, but no idea what I was really doing with him.
Played the Fighterz beta. So far, my team is Vegeta (point man), Kid Buu, and Krillin (anchor). It's been a lot of fun. Tried Beerus, but I think I'll need a lot of practice with him before I can get good, and I can spam fools with Vegeta right now, so that effected my choice.
Beerus has been dead weight for me so far despite my best efforts. Probably a much better character if I had time to understand him, but at the moment I just can't seem to deal enough damage with him to make him worthwhile. Adult Gohan has basically been getting my victories for me, because he seems super damn solid.

I need to play Frieza a bit more. Probably drop Beerus for him if I get a chance to hop on tomorrow. Most of my matches have been Beerus getting his face kicked in, my rotating secondary doing some okay work, then Adult Gohan either mopping up most of their team or coming close with a loss.
beerus definitely seems like a character that needs some lab time which is nonexistant in this beta

Beerus looks tough as shit to play, since you need to use his trap fireballs and be really aware of your super meter and whether you've landed your level one so you can blow it up.

I just did stretchy arms into air super or level 3 for lol is this for real damage
Okay, so Zangief's VT2 appears to add +130 damage and +100 stun to any raw SPD. Maximum out of that is 350 damage and 400 stun from an EX with mode active. You can also combo into one while in the mode with jump-in, headbutt, c.MP into LP/EX SPD for more damage than ending the same combo with a lariat.
