dbz was a lot of fun but the more chaotic a game is the less concerned I am with gettin gud
I'm still probably gonna devote most of my brainspace to AE unless locally dbz really takes off
I somehow have a way better grip on what to do in a chaotic mess like DBZ than I do in SFV

I much prefer the TvC / MVCI feel over the MVC3 feel, and this is just my least favorite parts of GG and MVC3 wrapped up in a franchise I got frustrated with 20 years ago. I'm having a lot of trouble clicking with this one.
That said, I feel like I could warm up to it with some lab time. What's the general approach to neutral, and what character has big gross normals like Vergil or Gordeau?
played about 50-60 SFV sets today, primarily with Ed, but also a little Ryu, FANG, and Ken
its still SFV. still very fast still very offensive. most of the VT2's basically just add to the insanity. Some characters who got buffed basically illustrate just how INSANE the offense is intended to be in this game... Necalli... goddamn.
anti-airs ARE buffed, it's not an absurd buff, but it's there, but simultaneously there are a few jump-in buttons that are absolutely bananas, and I read some twitter notes from tool_assisted that amounts to some jump-ins did indeed get buffed
the new VTs make the game a lot more interesting, at least for now. Some of them really do alter matchups.
I don't think i got matched up against the whole cast, but I got most of them.. here is what stood out to me
Urien: still insane, VT2 offers unblockables that result in FULL SCREEN corner carry
Necalli: WOW.
Abigail: yup, he's fucking good
Balrog: he can still bullshit you, but you get WAY more second chances, which is all anyone can ask for.
Vega: they took away some of his nonsense, but they replaced it with a world class anti-air... Top 10 candidate for SURE
Alex: i can't tell if he's going to be "good", but his reputation as the ultimate online scrub buster is now etched in stone. his cr.hp is still wonky, but it does seem to be better
Finally getting around to some Sakura play. She feels rather noticeably different than SF4. Gotta get used to all these timing changes, and just accidentally tried to FADC out of an EX DP. At least now that they finally aged her up, they can use story mode to transition towards her MSHvSF ending.
Only to the extent that it made her glasses disappear.

No, it's still listed as "人造人間21号", same format as the other Androids. The only "Majin" I'm seeing in here is when it's talking about her outfit, and down in the screenshot where she's talking to Majin Buu and they're speculating what the connection is.
