I have that same tupperware pitcher (I think it's actually made by sterilite), and it's a real piece of shit. Not only is the blue snap on top not waterproof, the green disc you press to open it will shoot all the way off like manhole cover in a gas explosion. It spills all over the place while pouring. The entire top cracked and now I use it as a dogfood holder.
