I was molested by a female cousin as a child. She was a child too but several years older. I’ve lived with shame for a long time. As an adult I don’t even blame her. She was young too. Not a teenager. A kid. What haunts me as an adult other than those feelings of shame is this: Who molested HER? She’s a victim too. While I never want to be in the same room as her, we are both victims of an adult ultimately.
