Whis is interesting to me, since he seems to be constantly skirting on the edge of the gay okama stereotype, but never really stepping over the line. It's kind of unusual to get a character like whis, especially in shounen, where he's very much not part of the standard masculinity but still portrayed as pretty much just a cool dude.

The angels largely read to me as basically like the most literal read of Christian angels, who aren’t actually capable of free will. They’re not robots, but Whis is incapable of going against the reason he was created. It’s freaky
Angel 2 was with a universe that wasn't too upset about being erased.
Angel 3 was distracted by robot of destruction 3.
Angel 4 don't give a fuck.
Angel 6 was with a universe that wasn't too upset about being erased, and one of two to at least dramatise it for a second.
Angel 9 was happy, and an asshole in the asshole-universe.
Angel 10 was sad.

haha oh man they didn't even give Krillin or Tien little "we get to do a thing" moments in the tournament of power, they just get ringed out immediately, Frost even no-sells the kikoho, poor team humans
I never really had a problem with Super's pacing after the Movie Recap stuff, tbh. Goku Black did a few too many jumps back to the present but besides that it has been fine, especially compared to Z's insane padding.

I'm just glad the animation is really good and not just, shitty CGI.
I hope they keep that slightly rough pencils-looking style in the finished production, I like that look a lot.
