Do you feel good or bad when you wake up from a nap?

Bad bad not good
See a nice lovely 20min sounds good but it usually takes me about 20min to fall asleep in the first place so frankly i just don't think i can make that work is the thing.
That said, I've modified my understanding of napping in recent years and find that a solid 20 minutes or so of non-sleep relaxation time can be pretty invigorating. Like, turning off the lights, lying down and just doing nothing for 20 minutes.
Yeah, my fiance has trouble falling asleep, so doesn't usually nap well/successfully, but I reminded her the other day that even just laying there, relaxing, and doing nothing is good, too. Like, don't stress about not actually falling asleep. The simple act of physically resting is beneficial even if you're still awake.
if I get tired and just sort of naturally fall asleep and take a nap I usually feel refreshed afterwards, but it also fucks up my sleep pattern for a couple days which is annoying
I can't force myself to take a nap on purpose, it just doesn't work
I feel great immediately after the nap, and terrible three hours after I was supposed to be asleep at night because the nap has destroyed my sleep schedule.

Feels good man
I love naps. If it were up to me I'd move 2-4 hours of sleep time from the evening to the early afternoon. I'd function a lot better on an 8-4-8-4 hour schedule than the standard 16-8.

I end up doing something like a 7down-10up-2down-5up sort of thing, although sometimes the after work nap goes to 3 hours. It can also be impacted by weeknight sports and activities. (And the weekend is just a free-for-all whatever happens goes sort of thing.)
My sleep schedule is constantly fucked due to working 4 midnights every week followed by three days off where I need to be awake at normal person hours, so naps are my saving grace
I barely have any free time, so I'm not going to spend it unconscious.

Bad bad not good
The few times I've been semi-successful at napping I used the following nap hack:
1. Drink 2+ shots of espresso.
2. Set an alarm for twenty to thirty minutes from now.
3. Fall asleep immediately because you are extremely tired.
4. Wake up when your alarm goes off and also because you need to pee and also oh hey all that caffeine kicked in this is great.
I love taking naps so much. But I never wake up feeling good or refreshed. I just feel tired and wanting more nap. It's almost always better to get caffeine and force myself awake. But when I can,I am taking naps...
If that's all there is my friends, then let's keep dancing
I mean, I never wake up immediately refreshed, but I usually feel much better after a quick nap, just in general. I might not be alert for a while, but I'll be able to function
Almost always bad. I wake up feeling kind of sick and dizzy and wanting to go back to sleep but then I toss and turn cause I feel terrible. And its always harder to get to sleep at the correct time because my body thinks Im done sleeping even though my brain is tired.
Best scenario for me is just going to bed a little earlier and hoping I sleep through the night.

Yeah like I also have this going for me, most of the time. I'm bad at napping both because I'm bad at doing it and also because it makes me feel bad.
Naps can kiss my butt
I ain't afraid to say it
Three hour you can’t tell if it’s morning or sunset anymore naps: terrible, may as well have wasted that day
If I set an alarm or am woken up from a nap forcefully? I feel worse than if I had just stayed awake.
Now, in my late twenties & working with students, I nap 2-3 times a week. Usually from 3:30 p.m. to 6 p.m.
I can't force myself to take a nap on purpose, it just doesn't work
but usually for me naps are good

a metamorphosis option for those who would say they wake up from naps and find that they have turned into a bug
