Yep. Hard requires your Moira to be on point. And your dps to stay in sight....

I had a Genji yelling at me for healing last night. Had to finally drop the headset mic and yell at him to stop running *away* from the healer.

I'm still holding that the 'g' in Brigitte is the 'j' from 'au jus'.

Since that's pronounced with a hard G and not like the peanut butter, yes

Well it's both - their head can crit, but the two red canisters or whatever on their back can too. Focusing on those brings them down mondo quick as Reaper.

That's pretty spot-on for the vowel sounds, but it's a hard 'g', like guest or give, not a soft 'g' like jest or jive.

Moira has some lines asking Reyes about side effects,so I think the idea is that she started experimenting on him when he was Soldier 24. Also the banter in Retribution makes me wonder if he has quips for his ult like other heroes but he gets so excited he just shouts DIE again

Did Expert Retribution on All Heroes

That was a lot of fun. The team was Moira, Soldier 76, Bastion, and Orisa. Honestly, I think that we could have done it on Legendary. It went really smoothly.

Now need to try it on Normal Expert. I think it will be a lot harder without a tank.

I did a successful All Heroes Legendary with a PA crew (two of us on our fourth-fifth attempt, one on their second attempt, and another having their first) with D.Va, Orisa, Moira, and Zen. There's a big jump in the damage you take and the damage they, especially the heavies, take. It was very hard, but also incredibly fun.

For me, at least. One of the other players called me masochistic as I was laughing maniacally at all of the crazy bullshit going down.

I played Hog for expert and the end stats were hilarious. I took 16 *thousand* points of damage, something like double what everyone else did. Mostly from body-blocking while huffing, but also from ulting right at the heavies.

    Meat-shield indeed.

Think they should probably make it so that you can do a partial extraction for Retribution. It's waaaaay too easy to get some idiot who decides to try and farm points for whatever reason when everyone else is waiting on the drop ship. Things get hot enough that if they go down and people don't have some ults ready it's basically game over.

    Guys.

    GUYS.

Sombra is a terrible pick for Retribution, okay?

    BUT.

You owe it to yourself to do it at least once and see what happens when you hack an Assassin.
She falls down and starts flopping around on the ground for the whole duration of the hack. It's a total win button against them.

The most surreal experience I had with that is a fucking Tracer was sitting outside the dropship for the longest time and eventually went down. So we went out to get them, but started to get slaughtered by, well, everything (think it spawned three assassins, and I took one out but my other two teammates got grabbed and I got launched off the building by a heavy). We managed to get Tracer up, and then went through a period where we kept getting each other back up and then going back down while Tracer finally retreated to the dropship.

Tracer then complained about us throwing the match by not getting on the dropship. Then I got matched with said player again and they were still complaining about us "throwing" the match. And it's just like... but you were the fucking one who refused to get on the damn ship!

    two dropship stories:

was duoing with my roommate for the event, got paired up with another duo, together we're dva, zarya, brigitte, and doomfist

it's going super well and we're having a blast.. right up til the end when we all don't realise the dropship's arrived in the heat of the action and soon fall to multiple heavies cos we didn't scram fast enough. everyone's pretty heartbroken at the stats screen.

a few rounds later, we got matched up with the same guys.. it's our chance at redemption. we all promise to get to de choppa this time. i'm dva but my roommate goes symmetra and it's surprisingly effective (they went moira and tracer). by the time we get to the end it's pretty much a race to be the first one in, we all congratulate each other and dance emote as the dropship lifts off.

    ---

on another mission, i was brigitte and my roommate was rein (we had some great synergy together). at the very end, we're all on top of the restaurant, rein and i are retreating with our shields up to cover the squishies (soldier and zen) as they get into the airship first, i'm thinking 'great, this is in the bag,' ..and immediately stumble backwards off the side of the ramp.

okay, not the smoothest but no big deal, i'm right next to the stairs, so i round the corner- and immediately get pinned by a heavy. i'm down and a million miles from everyone else.

in comes reinhardt to save the day, he shatters the heavy and staves him off long enough to revive me and we both book it back to the evac point as the rest of our team lay down covering fire from the rooftop, no one gets left behind.

I wonder how Symmetra would do in this

Answer hazy. The lack of range and defense is a bit of a problem, but the sustained DPS once you get the beam charged on a pack is hilarious. Just...don't put down the shield gen in the mobile phase.

Mei is not good in this.

Mei is extremely good in this mode. She can lock down the Heavy really easily with her ult and just repeatedly freezing. She can wall to make resing downed teammates easy, and her new piercing freeze let's her hit multiple guys at once.

Mei is and continues to be, bae.

Terrible, I tried her on normal. Bots get that they need to kill sentries and well it feels like your dead weight to the team most the time. Torb seems to do okay, his turret has some staying power and does a nice drop softening up some of the specials; especially, the assassins.

Bastion, Orisa and Roadhog are pretty lols on this. Lucio can be comically hilarious if you can boop a pack of guys into the water. Sombra has her uses, mostly stunning assassins. Mei and McCree are like the best things against heavies. I haven't tried any of the snipes or melee dps. I'm terrible at sniper and genji never meshed well with how I play. Doomfist doens't work well with how I like to play and some of his moves can easily get you killed. Reinhardt is also lols on this mode. Just smack people around with the hammer, try to pin an assassin beating a teammate down to the wall and see if you can stun the heavy out of a charge with your own charge.

Mind you I'm sticking with normal right now as I see what works for me, so I imagine some of characters will do less well as the difficulty amps up. I'll probably start giving hard and expert tries later on. Luckily people are starting to get they need to be on the damn ship when it shows up.

Uprising is just hard. I've yet to beat in on vanilla mode. I just hope the next time I do it, I can continue to play as Torb, but I could probably not be dead weight as tracer or Reinhardt. I've completed it twice using roadhog. Main issue I see that people have is the clowns that run off on their own, people not understanding kill priority, not understanding how their skills can help the team (Reinhardt leaving the squishies by themselves as he charges off into the blue yonder and not even bothering to make sure he takes a detonator with him at the very least. Also people not realizing you'll have to fight the last two orisa units together and that you shouldn't rush them; especially, when you're a super squishy dps because their are usually a few trash guys, along with a bastion around them.
