Rich powerful white dude: I don’t like that guy’s opinion, he’s probably a pedophile, man, I sure hope my legion of followers don’t do anything horrible to that guy’s reputation.
Random twitter poster: I’m going to critique Musk’s treatment of his employees in a slightly risqué bdsm joke.
Musk is definitely a powerful figure within American culture and business. Has more power than all of PA together, including Mike and Jerry. They're both like plankton to Musk. Added to this he has his own pseudo cult online to harass anyone he dislikes.
Oh hey awesome, now we're doing the sexualized jokes and trolling that would get you nuked from orbit if you were a dude.
Hilarious, excellent, good job internet celebrities, you really owned him.
Why would you think that? Some dude talking about Musk ball gag ordering him would ... get the same reaction this does. Pretty damn funny and clever.
Struck me as the opposite, sexually demeaning and a bit kink shamey too. I guess sexual humiliation is fine though?
Basically nothing is out of bounds when deployed against "the powerful". And we wonder how social media got to be a tire fire..
I don't see how it's sexually demeaning or shaming any sort of sexual practice. It's just a joke by way of phrasing criticisms of his labour practices as "come fuck me" style lines. Nothing about it says there is anything wrong with these sex acts, it's just puns and shit. You are making shit up here to be offended about as some sort of "women get away with this but a man never could" thing.
If social media has taught me one thing, it's that anybody can get away with anything as long as they don't apologize for it
Marty: The future, it's where you're going? Doc: That's right, twenty five years into the future. I've always dreamed on seeing the future, looking beyond my years, seeing the progress of mankind. I'll also be able to see who wins the next twenty-five world series.

Punching up is.....very different from punching down, so yeah, it'd be pretty different if a dude was saying it to a lady
Also I don't know how any of that is kink shame-y, they're if anything shaming the horrible labour conditions he creates in his workplaces and using BDSM as framing for some solid puns
Cishet white guy saying that lack of civility from a woman who's had an unbelievable amount of Internet harassment is what's wrong with modern discourse. Well I never
Might be a good idea to let the kink community speak up about kinkshaming instead of using them as a cudgel. They're not really being actively assaulted by the government or society like other groups are right now.
All I know is she's not going to work at Disney for a while

Well yes, different demographics get to make comments/jokes that other demos can't. Always been a thing. Will be a thing for the foreseeable future.
It's my favorite thing about social media
Why do you think everyone makes sure to list all of their personal descriptors right at the beginning of their twitter bio? It's so you can get a quick rundown of what sorts of jokes they are allowed to make before you read their tweets.
For example, JoeTweetGuy on twitter doesn't list anything personal in his bio, just his job title and a blanket "Tweets and thoughts are my own and not my employer's", clearly this means he is a straight white male. That means he doesn't get away with shit!
JuneTweetPerson on the other hand starts things off by saying they are a hispanic, undocumented, gay, agender, intersectional feminist with PTSD. They basically get a free pass to say whatever they want on Twitter (as long as they're talking about straight white men).
See, it's like a magic spell - if you find the right combination of personal descriptors you basically become untouchable. Not only are you immune from internet criticism, you might even get a job at the New York Times. Also, before anyone gets it in their head to criticize this post, keep in mind that I am an asexual Muslimah with extreme social anxiety.

Public disdain for the kink community had, in a very roundabout way, a significant effect on getting Barack Obama elected. Also isn't one of the rumors about Trump being that he paid a prostitute to pee on him?
I guess it might be more of a political thing than a business thing though.
You need to be damn careful whenever you start attributing acts, actions, and attributes to a person that is generally reviled. Because the default response most anybody is going to have is "If X person does Y thing, I don't want to do or be associated with Y thing". Followed by anybody associated with Y thing feeling like they're being shamed and attacked.
It's certainly possible to pick your words to avoid this, if you're good enough. Damn near most people on the internet are not good enough.

Unless I've had my dick in you recently without knowing, I kinda feel like you aren't in much of a position to comment on me.
It's fine for you to comment on Zoe Quinn though, apparently.
EDIT: Obviously poster-to-poster interaction is different than commenting about someone not on the boards saying something not on the board. But still, interesting dichotomy.
Jesus christ the joke isn't kink, its that he's a horrible person to work for.
Seriously. Why are we bringing this "punching up/down" bullshit into the conversation? There's nothing wrong with the joke. It's not shaming anyone. Anyone could play it. Frankly the only way it wouldn't work is if Musk was a woman and that's entirely because then the cultural context of someone saying "fuck me hard" would no longer be there to play off of.
It's not some fucking risque insulting joke that only works because someone is "punching up", it's just a normal fucking joke at how shitty Musk's labour practices are loaded with sex puns and plays on words.
This feels like some people trying to make this something it isn't to have an argument about some other subject they feel really strongly about.
Really the one having a laugh here is Elon Musk. Twitter is a joke, but it reaches a lot of people who take it far more seriously than it should be taken, and you can imagine how that can be used to influence market prices and the investor rumor mill. I'd say that Mr. Musk knows exactly what he's doing, and we just live in a world where insults are valid weapons. He trolls short sellers, this induces doubt about the short positions, and his stock price goes up.

Nah, if someone is a dick, they'll usually get called a dick.
Complaining about how minorities, women, LGBTQUAI, and people of different religions have it easy on social media is pretty much the definition of white privilege, and incredibly goosey. IE complaining about one thing that they can do "without complaint", but ignoring that those labels mean that they are almost always guaranteed to get complaints, be openly targeted by people on the right and stans, and get a lot of random criticism for no reason other than their labels.
In this case, the person talking is also Zoe Quinn. Someone who is incredibly tied into different kink-communities and a game developer (She's even making a Chuck Tingle FMV game). The later gives her a reason to openly laugh at Musk asking for game developers when he's had a horrible track record of treating his employees well. The former gives her a ton of leeway in making kinky jokes. Jokes which aren't about the kink, but about the abusive nature of Musk's employment practices.
The joke is about being fucked by one's boss. It is a universal joke that could easily be performed or iterated upon by any person who isn't a member of the parasite class.
It also ties into a separate, much more recent joke/note of concern about video-game companies being a cult-like cycle of abuse.

That is.... kinda not the case all the time, but it's really not the right thread to explore this angle.

Unexpected turn in this thread is people showing their whole ass because a billionaire got made fun of on Twitter. Musky is infectious.
