Big Fan, but the game...??

I love the idea of a game, but one of my complaints is the way Tycho and Gabe look...

I got bored and decided to mess around in my 3-D program and made an example of what I would rather see Tycho and Gabe look like.

Yeah, A cel shaded style. I think that would be alot better. It fit's the comic more IMO. But this is just my opinion...

I know many games havnt had much success using this method *coughFamilyGuy*
But it made it seem like you were playing an episode.

    You actually haven't seen what they actually look like. Those 3d shots were all WIP; we've already seen a few frames from the trailer with actual cel shaded characters, suggesting that the whole game'll be like that once it's fully implemented. Also your Tycho doesn't look like Tycho bu that's a separate matter.

    Yeah I know it doesnt look much like Tycho, I just threw that togehter in a couple minutes so I could show the rendering I was talking about.

    But yeah, I hope they do it cel shaded.

    (off topic: any tips on how i can make it look more like him? i have the model, might as well work on it lol)

    I am fairly sure the trailer wasnt the final game style, I remeber reading..

    The game does have cell shading. It just was not in the build we showed before.

    I think that the guys at PA making a game makes a pretty fair amount of sense...personally
    They are after all GODS among us mortal gamers.
    I have faith in them and all but huddled in a dark corner of my mind IS a little bit of doubt
    ...and I Feel like a total dick for even that amount of doubt

    You need to get the model a lot further before you ask for critiques. Grab a picture of him and set it up in rotoscope (or whatever you use as a reference in whatever program you are using). Model against that.
