I forced neco to read 1000 hours of bot tweets and this is what I created

    ...kind of predictable, actually

A trap is for fish: when you've got the fish, you can forget the trap. A snare is for rabbits: when you've got the rabbit, you can forget the snare. Words are for meaning: when you've got the meaning, you can forget the words.

Bot posts are "my kid said this profound thing" but for millennials who can't afford to reproduce.

they are also fake. super fake.

faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaake there was a good article I read the other day about why but now I can't seem to find it. But the main gist is that "bots" aren't that smart. At best these posts are a bot spewing out tons of random crap and a human carefully curating what gets made into the post. But most of the time it's just made up by a human.

    Yeah, I think I trust

    1) people who admit they're cherry picking (I am having trouble loading the page, but I think the lady at http://aiweirdness.com does this)

and 2) anyone who actually publishes their architecture and weights

    I have never seen a 2) though.

I think the main giveaway is if the supposed bot was able to make any reference to previous statements in the conversation. With sufficient work someone could make a bot that generates a decent response to a statement as a single, contextless event. But when the supposed bot shows any coherence whatsoever over time its a sure tell that it was done by a human.

nah I think this will stick. The plastic bag ban worked. So did the smoking in restaurants ban a while back (and that one has been so nice).

Walked up and down the bread aisle trying to find tortillas. There was flatbread and pitas but no tortillas.

Turns out they could only be bought in the international aisle.

My international tortillas from Norcross, Georgia.

Nah, if the ban effected a multi-billion dollar corporation, then they'd back down.

probably. don't know for sure. Definitely something that has been on my mine lately.

though engineering is very heavily concentrated in Redmond. And the last time there was layoffs, which was to be fair in the Ballmer era , it was anyone who worked remotely who was let go first then people outside redmond (regardless of performance or other factors).

also guys its only plastic straws that are banned. Compostable ones are fine and it's what they've had in the cafeterias at work for years now.

I honestly care more about a beachhead than permanent stability. If I could get a job that allowed teleworking, or rapid transfer to another (country's) location, that'd be perfect, because I could use that for points on the express entry program and get permanent residence in like... well, as fast as their bureaucracy can handle it.

Sometimes there are some in the fresh bakery section. And Trader Joe’s has good ones too.

Scarlett Johansson has issued a statement after receiving backlash regarding her new role. It was recently announced that Johansson would be playing the role of Dante "Tex" Gill in Rub & Tug, and fans were quick to point out that, Gill seems to have lived as a transgender man, not a cisgender woman like Johansson. When asked for comment on the reaction to her new film, Johansson's rep provided this comment on Rub & Tug to Bustle from the actor herself: "Tell them that they can be directed to Jeffrey Tambor, Jared Leto, and Felicity Huffman's reps for comment." (Bustle reached out to New Regency and 20th Century Fox for comment, but did not receive an immediate response.)

My ribs came out amazing. They are so tender and just fall off the bone. My rub is good but I will mess with it. I think I am to the point I need to start making my own bbq sauce.
