This Factorio game with bob's and angel's mods is getting pretty ridiculous. I have a dozen ores I need to process to make the various metals I need for more advanced components. The process goes:
mine basic ores
crush the ores and separate the rocks from the result
take the crushed ore and "wash" them to make chunks
take the chunks and separate into more basic ores
send those dozen different types of ores into their appropriate chests so they're all in one place and not mixed
smelt those ores into ingots
melt those ingots into their molten form
craft that molten metal into plates
voila, now you can use them to craft things!
There are more complicated versions where you can inject oxygen or sulfuric acid or some other chemical to improve the smelting process
Also, my gas/liquids are of my base is just a huge criss cross of underground pipes and storage containers. It is a huge mess and I am dreading having to organize it later because it is getting unwieldy as I have to make room to produce *looks at list of chemicals* Ethylbenzene. What the heck do I use Ethylbenzene for?

I'm making plastic using Propene. Other recipes use Formaldehyde and Phenol or Naptha and Polyethelyne.

I'm 99% sure that you can install mods via the game itself. It has a search feature and tells you what mods are dependent on others and then lets you update them.
Oh damn. I didnt see steam workshop so just gave up in my steam laziness heh. Ill check into that thanks Kamiro.

I'm 99% sure that you can install mods via the game itself. It has a search feature and tells you what mods are dependent on others and then lets you update them.

Yeah, the devs refuse to use Steam Workshop because they want mods to be agnostic of platform and a vocal number of their fans refuse to buy the game on Steam (because FREEDOM or whatever)
They wrote the entire mod interface into the game itself instead.

I used to have to clear away a bunch of shit to make room for VR and it was a big hassle. Then I got rid of several poessions and rearranged my apartment to make the living spaces a lot more open and now all it takes to do VR is moving a coffee table.
The new arrangement is immensely better and makes me very happy. I suspect that “making room for VR” is pretty much the same thing as just making your home more livable in general.

write a program that you can give it a url via command line and it'll download the HTML and save it to a file for you
add a function that pulls out a specific html element from the file and saves it to its own file
expand the function to find a specific value inside an HTML element, save that to its own file
expand the function to find a collection of values that are in a grid of elements on the page and save it to a CSV file
expand the command line url to read in a collection of page links to do use that function to store the values on all those pages in a single CSV file
maybe change it to store it in a database or dump it right into the program you use it for, maybe an excel spreadsheet

@Brody The vive (or vive pro) + the next-gen headmount with included earphones + wireless adapter is how you get this, and it will require you have the PC rig already. Altogether it's a lot of cash but if you already have a modern gaming rig you're halfway there.
