A species of barely organic living stones, smooth and asexual, who find most other organic life unspeakably disgusting. They see humans as slime monsters, leaving trails of grease and flakes everywhere they go, constantly emitting fluids and jamming things into their orifices and rubbing their oily bodies against anything they can find in order to spray it with their reproductive gel.
And of course people can be wonderful in their special age-appropriate ways as well. Young people, for instance, are pretty and full of life. And old people, if awful, will die soon.

Yes it’s better, no it’s not a ton better. It’s a very uneven show that’s on average improving. I still like it a lot despite its flaws. The hits are very good.
