Split Personality aka "how long has my screen been purple? guess I'll just stand still for 15 seconds just in case it's about to go"
the fact that a bunch of mobs can either
A. physically knock you through the splits
or
B. put 19248124 swirls on the floor outright forcing you to move as split personality spawns
Is what makes it so horrible. Couple that with situations where your "exit" is off the side of a bridge, a fence you can't hop over, or straight up literally the wall, and it's just... very bad.

I ran one where a mob knocked me back down a hill, up again a building, then placed the circles around me with the exit being up again the building was. Gg.

Yeah, IS is worthless for AoE. Keep in mind that simcraft only gives you your optimal output sans mechanics. Raid mechanics will make the real outcome quite different. For example, for elemental, Ascendence tends to sim higher than Stormkeeper. But taking Stormkeeper is generally considered the best practice, as it's usable when moving and more practical.
I do feel bad though because right after I logged off I was informed that we were going out to dinner on Thursday evening and I will very likely be late for/entirely miss the raid.
Nice. Did you get gift of the titans and have that push you over? Gift was definitely what took us from "this might be possible" to "Oh yeah this is very possible."

I actually died on my first this week. Tried to big pul and iris. Didn’t realize it was full of those stun channel guys. Got iris interrupted almost immediately and as a boomkin that was just curtains. Lost my cheat death and then still couldn’t kill one.
Second run I at least got 3 done but I messed up the one lost boss that isn’t rexxar so bad that was like 800 sanity right there. I think I can do it next run but that death means I need 4 runs this week for my cloak.

That lost area is in my opinion the absolute hardest part of org. Lots of rude mobs coupled with really bad terrain. That and the three elites are all dicks. The guy who throws you seems to always reduce sanity? I don't know if i've been doing something wrong the whole time, but when he throws me at another player I always take -15. The blood guys swirls can be really hard to dodge when you get split personality, and then the last elite with his ring of orbs. Yiiiiikes.

Yeah zeny the orb ring guy was who demolished me. I didn’t get how to avoid the line of void zones till halfway through, and between that, the orbs, and split personality, I was just getting destroyed trying to get out of anything and just spamming instants hoping he would die. I was stupid and popped my cds on an elite before him. I can pretty much nuke almost and elite with cds before many mechanics with it, would have helped for that guy.

It may end up coming down to the madnesses, apparently the lead foot one was a real shitshow for a lot of classes. Meanwhile the other one that I think it could be (fear circles) was really easy and I think might do literally nothing to you if you're solo?
as a note, though im sure most people are probably already somewhat aware. You earn 3-5 keys a week depending on how crazy you're being about it
1 key from the major assault
1 key from doing both minor assaults (tues/fri)
You get 11,000 coalescing from doing the lesser vision every day
Those 3 things alone are 3 keys straight up for very minimal effort.
The dailies give 250, and there are 7 of them every day, so thats another 12500 if you do every daily quest. Earning you a 4rth key each week (plus some leftover essence) if you just stick to the quests.
The final key comes from a combination of doing the events (usually there's 12 per day for another 4200 essence each week) opening all 3 key-chests across the week (1000 essence total) and other miscelleanous things like being in war mode for the 10% bonus to dailies, killing rares, etc. This much is obviously quite doable, but excessive to the point that even I, the madman I am, stopped doing it.
One of the upcoming weeks (rank 12, not next week but the week after) apparently only requires a single key to upgrade the cape. making it a good week to bank up keys if you're starting to fall behind on them. Especially as the weeks after that require 3, 6 and 9 keys respectively. Meaning unless you hit that final week with 4+ keys despite having used at least 6 the week before you wont be able to max your cape on that week.
I'm gonna be in bwl for mabes a half hour - hour after our raid start, we were a little short on numbers last week so consider me avaliablish but I'll only swap when y'all are actually on and in the instance
If I have power I will be around tonight. Last night when I got home a power pole by us was like, about to fall over leaning over the street. I called in in. This morning they had a crew working on it, but we have a huge wind/snow storm in the area and I keep getting emails from my power company about the "periodic outages" that should be fixed ASAP. I'm at work so I have no idea if this effects me or if it'll be fixed when I get home but its cold as balls outside so I hope we have power!

I tried to do solo as a healer last night with my DPS gear on and I was fine until I got fucked by a triple stun I probably could have dodged if I was paying attention. The reduced HP is insane, guys die in like 2 hits.

I had some REAL problems with the rexxar area and then of all places, Zekhans area.
The aqir dudes stun you if you hit 5 stacks of poison it seems(?) and I did a BIG pull and got hyper stunlocked for my troubles.
AS for zekhans area, I got hotfeeted at a bad time into a mob you dont have to pull, he has a bunch of HP and constantly spams an instant cast polymorph which doesn't break on damage. I lost half a bar of sanity to that pull.
