Ya know, I think this Burrows guy might be a good quarterback. I honestly don't know what to with that. I keep waiting for the game where LSU runs into a "good" defense and then collapses horrifically. I am utterly unequipped to react to LSU having a good quarterback and offense that can intentionally score points.
The deeper problem is that Alabama has flat out sucked in this game.
Gary Danielson actually said a smart thing right before the half, when he said that the more battle-tested team has looked better, and I agree. LSU has already beaten Texas, Florida, and Auburn this year. Alabama’s best wins, comparatively, are Texas A&M, followed by Ole Miss probably? Just seems like LSU was more prepared for this game overall, which is a crazy thing to think about a Nick Saban team.
And I still don’t count them out! But it’d require a ton of adjustments at the half on both sides.
