Unfortunately not. He hasn't been in it much at all lately, at least.

His sister was just almost executed so I'd expect him to reappear next chapter
If Black Clover ends up with a bloody revolution against the nobles I will be very happy

Its current arc could go full civil war, but it'll probably go 'this dude is playing a long con to use Asta against X Y and Z'.

edit: 'This smug guy thinks he's playing a long con, but accidentally provokes a civil war instead' would be a fun alternative.

I'm mostly surprised I wasn't immediately flooded with already been done versions when I Google searched.

These are super neat but I'm not sure what they are from? (I may just not know the source, they look dope!)

It's no My Hero Academia, but it's way better than the first batch of episodes would make you think.
I mean, granted, it still took 20ish episodes before it went from a thing I watched just to have a thing to watch, to a thing I legitimately enjoyed.

I've got some serious arc fatigue going from recent MHA, hope we get back to the main cast soon...but it looks like we might go into ANOTHER villain arc?

World Trigger is the one of the few Shonen action series I actually enjoy so it's nice to know the author's health is improving and it's getting a regular releases again.

There's a lot to unpack in that question

For one, I'm not sure what definition of "fuckboi" we're running with here. IIRC, Asta basically is only romantically interested in one person; that nun from his village. Which is never ever ever happening, so he may as well be celibate.

If you mean does he stop screaming, then no, but it does lessen. It's also much less grating in the dub, FWIW.

Black Clover becomes Shonen: The Series™. It exists solely to go "hey remember that thing you loved? It was AWESOME, wasn't it?" And is constantly moving at breakneck pace.

Animation in the anime is never CONSISTENTLY good, but they start spending money on the big fights. The main problem is that pacing in the manga never really got translates to the anime, so it's never going to be as good in that sense.

Black Clover is the comfort food of shonen: it's nothing you haven't consumed before, but it does that junk well, so it's worth being that comfort food.

Here's Gigguk's "black Clover doesn't suck anymore" video:

    https://youtu.be/ZhWgRovPib8

It directly addresses your asta thing, FWIW

I'll stick it in spoilers, but heres the most recent fight so you can see that the animation has improved at least a bit.

E: Christ, the thumbnail of that video is a huge spoiler. Turning it to a URL so if someone just wants to watch a bit they can, but clicking the link is... Yeah

why do the serious fate/whatever things always have weird awkward subtitles, is that a reflection of the japanese being weird or hard to translate, or just the translation being weird?

Actually maybe it's extra awkward in lord el melloi because of all the engrish they sprinkle in because the characters are ostensibly british, to make it sound cooler in japanese. Awkward subtitles or dialogue are definitely something I've noticed to some degree in the other non-comedy fate animes though.

Oh, the dialogue. That's translation issues I think, since it's using words/concepts that are difficult to 1:1 with English.

I figure it's like 100% of operating safely. There are a few times in the show where it's like "Oh, I'm at my limit. I'll just push through!" And when he does, it is indeed cool, but a consequence is he's overall weaker and can't maintain his super form for as long. He starts at about 3 hours and it gets as low as 50 minutes.
And then there's his fight with All For One where he does this for the final time and loses his power as a result.

    Sumire 16 sai!!
The series chronicles the days of Sumire, a lively 16-year-old girl. However, Sumire is not a common girl: she is a life-sized ventriloquist's dummy, controlled by an old man in black clothes. Sumire's character acts unaware of her puppet nature, or of the old man controlling her movements, although the rest of the cast are very aware that she is a puppet, but they become more or less accustomed to her weird nature. Violet Evergarden is still on Netflix, yes?

It is. It's marked as a Netflix Original, so it's probably going to stay on there.

Not to shit too much on something others might like, but I watched a few episodes of it when it came out and thought it was dreadfully boring.

It is kind of meandering and at times predictable and some of the episodes feel a bit aimless but I enjoyed it overall. Episode 3 is where it started clicking for me. If you don't buy in by then it's probably time to look into other post office animes.

btw I recently finished Violet Evergarden and here are my thoughts
A little above average on the whole but a couple of episodes in particular really elevate my rating. The one with the mother writing letters for her daughter (I cried so much at the end) and the writer's play.

Some of the episodes (Iris episode, cute archivist boy episode), I'm not going to say they're bad but they're just kind of there. I could do without spending quite so much time on the war stuff honestly, especially the conflict at the end felt tacked on, but whatever it pays off with Benedict jumping from a train in high heeled boots to kick a bomb. That is a very dumb and good thing that I am glad happened.

I rolled my eyes pretty hard when it looked like Violet was parachuting onto a battlefield to super soldier rescue her client, then I laughed when she was imprinting his words onto her finger tips, but I was still down enough with the resolution to give it a pass.
