Thanks for the wonderful support, everybody. It’s been a heck of a journey getting here, and we’re not quite to the starting line just yet, but it’s been really great being in here sharing the journey over the past several years.

So much left to do, but I’m so excited to get to do with with someone so wonderful with such a wonderful family.

also give us some pics if you're cool with it!

I want to see that ring! I loooooove vintage rings!

The return happens in say, 4 hours from now? That's when her plane lands so I will probably meet her at the light rail station around 11. For some stupid reason I am very nervous about seeing her again for the first time in like 5 days. Maybe excited is a better word?

If we're doing arbitrary dates in the past, if you're older than 37, chances are the end of WWII is closer to your birth date than today is.

History will describe Demolition Man as many things, but vintage is not one of them.

Our forum’s demographics are old for a general internet community
(That’s not related to a specifically old people topic at least)

I am not particularly old but something always hurts already and I'm very creaky and grunt a lot when shifting my bulk around which does not bode well for when I actually am old.

I'm gonna hire somebody to just take me out quick and clean if or when I reach 35.

Post 2004 forums are much nicer and more welcoming than their predecessor

The last twenty years have been something, I suppose

Best not to dwell on them too much, continue stumbling forward

I finally made it to the gym again, for the first time since mid November

Second day back is always the hardest for me.

I go for a lot of runs with the intent of getting back into running on a regular basis. Problem is, they're generally a couple weeks apart.

Did an 8 mile hike on Saturday, biked 15 on Sunday, and then picked back up on my 5k training this morning.

I think if I move wrong one or both of my calves is going to explode. Yoga tomorrow morning will either be awesome or the worst idea.
