    Best part, Green?

The ! was part of his name for some reason only seven year olds understand.

You put that ! in there no matter where his name showed up in the sentence.

Did you see the Zap that I made in Hero Machine?

It was like a cross between Mystique and a seizure

Hah, no I didn't even see that one.

My dude had absolutely no personality. He was like Cannonball, with no legs and the little blasty bit, but "encased" in some kind of energy like an atomic powered Iceman.

Mostly because I just kind of drew the dudes as I went along.

That being the case, keeping in line with the Vanguard symbol Fedora drew, you're gonna want to make your V a bit flatter.

I wasn't aware that there was a vanguard logo already drawn.
Also, I put that much space between the V and the Sword so the stencil wouldn't be as flimsy. Flattening a stencil is a luxury that someone, with a super-powered dictatorship on there back, can't afford.

I figure it's the one on Ultimatum's chest.

    The one Fedora drew.

It's kind of annoyed me how the only mutation you can get in comics are the kind that make you stronger.

Will anyone in this world get real mutations like tumors and such.

I thought that was the old-timey pre-anathema ultimatum
I think an evil dictator shouldn't be so gosh darned happy.

EDIT: Well, why would they make a comic about a kid who has cancer? They rarely fight supervillains.
Or do you mean that mutants should have more than one mutation?

Yeah, but I kind of what them to exist for logics sake, but not have any part in the story.
In any other setting it would be okay but this world feels more... real
Like if comic book stuff happened in real life this is what would happen.

I also like the happy golden age heroes like heavy weight and peal who are proud of their powers and want to do good meet darker heroes like Magpie and bogeyman who have a more cynical view on things.

Gives new meaning to the blessing or curse thing.

The one I remember specifically was Justice Society of America

Hourman and his kid and that Miraclo stuff they used to drink for their "Hour of Power".

Dad was fine, his kid got cancer.

    Do it.

The only good way to do this would be to find my sketchbook from then. I can remember bits and pieces only until then. One of the main villains was Polly Nomial, she had the power to multiply and extend her arms. That's probably the worst of the jokes. There was also a General Form, who had a huge ass weapons arsenal. Hmm, maybe not form. General Something.

This is kinda sorta one of the possible ideas behind my nemesis. She tried to mutate herself stronger so that she could take me down, and ended up blind and hideously deformed. And also able to fly and create poisons and such.

Only mildly related, but "The Boy Who Collected Spider-Man."
Spidey goes to this kid's house, meets his biggest fan, who he read about in the paper. The kid dug bullets out of a wall that were shot at Spidey.
At the end, he reveals his identity to the kid.
The kicker is at the end, and it's the end of the article. "You see, Jimmy has cancer, and he probably won't live another year."

    So yeah. They do cancer.

Ok, I think I finally got it

Instead of the gauntlets giving him sun powers, he has ice powers. And like he can project a "comet tail" from the gauntlets to use as a form of ice sword things, and when he flies it looks like a comet flying by

I was thinking of calling him Comet

It's a nifty idea minus the believability part for the flying.

I wasn't aware ice would propel you. It sounds like it'd be too heavy to lift you anywhere whereas with plasma (aka fire), it's light enough to propel you in flight.

Comets aren't propelled by their tail, are they? If they are, look into what propels them and then you can explain your fancy shmancy tail.
