LaMelo getting his first start and look who's going off...
It's Malik Monk? Out of the doghouse and straight to the moon. 34 at the end of regulation on 9/13 from deep. Heading to OT with Miami.

To be fair to the Big 3 on the Nets, a lot of their issues are that whenever the starters sit, the bench is so bad that they give up leads. Then the starters have to come in and play hard on both ends of the floor to try to compensate.
Also, Kyrie Irving is bad at defense and to his credit finally, for once in his life, explicitly admitted that he is trash at defense and needs to improve without somehow throwing the rest of his team under the bus in the process.

It was against a shitty Minnesota team but Garland really impressed me tonight. He does a lot of floaters and odd shots off the glass but he puts them in and his ball handling reminds me a lot of Kyrie.
Fucking tough guy Rodney? Who might be outta the league soon? No idea if he did something dope today but this is some great shit talk from Klay and Draymond.
the less skill a team has the more likely the sixers are to randomly drop a game to them.
it has always been this way. they probably win by 20 if against the blazers at full strength because sixers things.
embiid's back has been bothering him since lebron didn't want to get postered and curry has been terrible since coming back from covid due to lingering symptoms which doesn't help.

Embiid had like 24 points in one quarter, and finished with 39. Surely the loss is all lebrons fault and without him Embiid would have finished with 60!
I mean he’s been on the injury report with back tightness basically every day since LeBron took him out and also hyperextended his knee mid that game so idk this is kinda a dumb bit you’re doing.

Crying about how bad your team's health was against the Blazers who could dress only 9 players, including just 1 starter, is
rather silly. Especially when your guy played and scored 39.

Milos teodosic has just been clowning around in random euro leagues
That's so bizarre from Draymond. There were still 6 seconds left! I wonder if he has a little hole in his basketball IQ where he wants to be the hero.
We also know if anyone calls them out on it, he cusses them out, calls them a little bitch motherfucker, and then they leave the team at the end of the season, so you gotta be careful around it.
Or he just had a brain fart, and thought he got fouled...pretty sure it's not an ego thing with him. Hate him all you want, but he knows he's not the last shot guy on the team.
Ohhhh yeah, you could be right on that. In that moment, he's got Chris Paul syndrome. He's trying to work the system so hard that he kind of messes himself up when the system doesn't work as predicted (which is a stupid thing, because I don't think I've ever seen the refs call a 3 shot foul in that situation, and I'm glad they don't honestly).

No one is hating on Draymond. What makes it so weird is because Draymond is generally such a smart, unselfish player, and doesn't make mistakes like that. But its the second prominent example of him wanting to make the glory play that ends up with something really silly and laughable (the first being that dribble and fall that left to the KD rift I outlined earlier).

Draymond doing weird, dumb things is definitely part of the Draymond package. Sometimes those things involve racking up technical fouls to point of facing suspension. Other times it involves showing up in November out of shape and taking half of the season to play himself back into shape.
On and off the court there are few things you can put past Draymond Green.
Feeling pretty good about this. Hopefully Fox and Haliburton get more recognition.
After that historically bad stretch, this past 8 or so games might be the best the Kings have played since I moved out here like a decade and a half ago.

NSFW cursing
I knew they were going to lose this game to literally no nba players.
Blazers team down 4 of 5 starters. I love it.

maybe i'm streaming terrible dj right now if i am its here
A proper centre who can rack up assists in the team that can cheat Davis on power forward with Lebron
I'm calling foul that's not fair!
The Warriors would go on to lose that game after Draymond tried to shotput a game tying three from half-court

Tonight's second quarter was just nuts.
