Boba fucking rules. He's the only character to have out smarted and track down the heroes in the OT. They never lose otherwise. That's why I have his armor. That's why I read all his books. That's why he's super cool. Feel free to disagree, but be open to a character being something else besides a point of emotional distress.
Except the end of Jedi has the main characters walking into a trap the Emperor setup that is only foiled by the ewoks.

I’ve always been a, Boba is dead in the Sarlaac, person but seeing this episode I am totally good with the new status quo. In the back of my head when they first say Tatooine I thought, Boba? And then when the helmet came down on the table with that huge dent I had a big old grin on my face.
After what Filoni did
with Maul and how fantastic he turned out I won't preemptively judge boba coming back.

Oh absolutely , clone war series and rebels Maul was amazing and took a cool blank slate and made him one of the most monstrous and sympathetic Sith period. Dude had a rough life. Also made Ventress the coolest female force user not named Ashoka.
Edit -Count Dooku vs the night sisters aged very well , awesome fight.

That was a real strong season opener for Mandalorian.
Ok maaaybe too many fanservicey bits though? Like everybody else I very much enjoyed space Raylan Givens. They tease but I still can't wait for him to meet a regular Mandalorian who takes their helmet off. The Krayt Dragon ruled. I still very much enjoy the exploration of Tusken raiders beyond just generic bad guy. I think the only thing I don't like about Boba Fett being alive is I kinda had this idea during the episode of the Jawas braving the maw of the Sarlacc to salvage shit, like pulling the thorn out of the lion's paw and then selling it.
One thing that Filoni has been good at is taking a very fan-wanky premise and then actually exploring it in interesting ways. So if he wants to bring back old characters, then by all means go for it.

Timely. Spoilers for season 1 of the Mandalorian for anyone who hasn’t seen and is for some reason braving everything by reading the thread still(or just doesn’t care).
Since the clone wars never got to air the story arc where Boba killed Cad Bane ( therefore it never happened) I wonder if he will ever show in the Mandolorian . If there was ever a show where Cad bane would fit right in it’s a show about bounty hunters and criminals in Star Wars .
Edit- rewatching clone wars and I am noticing a lot more foreshadowing with palpatine smirking ever time anakin threatens violence or loses his cool . Also wow Anakin is an amazing fighter and a TERRIBLE Jedi .
