I hope you can run an original PSOne build rather than the enhanced gamecube version
The PC port for Metal Gear Solid was based on the PS version and from the article it sounds like that one has just been updated to run on modern PCs. It does not sound like they are making new port based on Twin Snakes
Sims 4: World of Nontendo update. First, I'm not a monster so I re-did the outside of the Pokehouse. I gave them actual trees and a porch. I think it ended up giving Mr. Mime's bedroom windows too, which I originally wasn't going to do. Second, despite not having a house for the Wrestlefriends and Zelda households, I made more Sims because I thought of a fun one:

Also: About freaking time!
MGS1:PC was how I first played MGS.
I still have my MGS2 DVD somewhere, and I still remember having to install a specific patch to run MGS2 on an ATi card.

Alright I have no idea who those people are, I got God, Tarzan, Peter Pan, and a porn star.

After playing Hades a bunch yesterday, upon reflection I think the one thing that stands out to me is that despite being quite a complicated experience, there is absolute no ramp to learning its systems and having fun and being rewarded whether you execute them well or not.
If Crusader Kings 3 has a cliff-face learning curve, this is a negative exponential.
The upgrades are BIG, CHUNKY and OVERT so their effect on your playstyle is really clear and obvious. Less Dead Cells "put one more scroll into power oh my attack does... some more damage now, cool whatevs", a little Monster Train "so instead of doing 2 damage the fireball spell now does 22!? Oh that's amazing, definitely using that more", and a whole big dollop of "your primary attack now does 40% more damage - hell yeah, let's primary attack more".
It gives me confidence that the game can make changes that to my lizard brain seem gargantuan but shake out as fair when playing as the balance isn't intentionally shattered in ways that Slay The Spire is sometimes designed to do - it strays from the imperceptibly incremental upgrades that plague RPGs (does anyone really choose one item over another if it provides -5% cooldown?).
The combat feels like pure Transistor. It's excellent.
I'm trying really hard to avoid custom content, except when I want them all to have hardcore sex of course. I've used it in the past for furniture and whatnot but I feel like part of the fun is trying to shoehorn the Maxis content onto the characters and making them awkward.

I haven't really gone for a lot of cosmetic custom content and mostly stuck with gameplay mods but Maxis having made Star Wars costumes for The Sims 4 and seeing sims regularly in them for City Living's Geekcon or Seasons Halloween raised the bar quite a bit for making characters from other media in The Sims 4 for me. Most of the impressive stuff I've seen has been people taking custom content not meant to be a costume and using creative pairings and body/face editing to create an iconic character though as opposed to deliberately making a character for download.
Yeah I would in general only advocate for stores that appear on isthereanydeal.com
They seem to be pretty good at doing the research for you, both on what's cheaper and what is legit.
I've been taking a bit of advantage of WinGameStore, because it sells to the EU in dollar prices, which the last year has become a bit more favorable again.
Typically how these grey markets work is they're able to buy keys across different regions where they might get a massive benefit as far as currency or price. They can then take these CD keys and resell them in other markets outside the intended region. For the most part, it works.
However, when you think about your favorite developer or a game you really want to support getting a fair cut for their work, either by buying it direct or getting it from Steam, you've probably robbed them of that.
So it's up to you. I highly recommend that if you have the means to by your games from more upstanding and reputable sources that are going to make sure these developers get a fair cut of the sale.
They make porn point and click adventure games now? I thought it was just the Deponia games that look like Oglaf
Leisure suite larry was like one of the og point and click games
And the latest one is out on Switch. Which is weird.
The more recent ones are way more porn-y than the originals. Waaaay back when, they were incredibly innuendo heavy and more "mature" than other games, but any actual nudity was pretty rare, and typically hidden behind some fail state, so you had to really want it.
They were overblown in how bad they were because nothing else really compared and because of nonsensical puritanical bullshit.
They were so softcore that even people who were used to looking for boobies in scrambled channels late at night would find them pretty tame.
Yeah. I remember one where (of course playing with a group of teenage dudes) we finally figured out how to get a woman to have sex with us. Sure, she was a prostitute, but it was a victory none the less for all of us virgins. We then got to watch a black rectangle with the word "Censored" on it bounce up and down on the bed, flip sideways, etc...pretty funny gag, honestly, but those games were far from spank material.
Of course, seeing what's going out as gifts to people...oooh boy we've cum a long way.
I still remember the time a particular porny game was handed out en masse in this thread less because of the game and more because of its title card.
Because the title card was too explicit for the forums, so one person took to MS Paint and "censored" it with a bit of newly drawn art. And after that every time someone else received it as a gift they'd put their own artistic touch before posting it in the thread. Some of them were truly magical too.

So many excellent games. Orivon is the nicest monster. Thank you.

LSL (1) predates mice. Keys for movement, text parser for actions.
"Softporn Adventure", its direct ancestor, predates graphics.
And the latest one is out on Switch. Which is weird.
I didn't even do anything to @Isorn and this happened.
And yes, I cut the description out of the image. For the sake of innocent eyes everywhere.
Thanks!
Ha! My parents had that game. The "security" questions were impossible for young me!
Did you know about bypassing them by pressing Ctrl-Alt-X?
EVERYBODY WANTS TO SIT IN THE BIG CHAIR, MEG!
Weighing that vs buying it full price.

Iceborne is near historical low right now, and the base game catches a lot of sales.

I played with no mods and it was 100% worth it.
"The" mod? That's not very descriptive.
Basically tries to deal with a few technical issues. There wasn't really a big modding scene for the game.
I can only imagine the rabbit hole you'll open up when you start looking at custom content.

Fills the void that Baldur's Gate 3 being delayed a whole week leaves. That's a joke. I'll wait for BG3 to come out of EA before tackling it!
Not a joke? Spoit is classy and I appreciate the gift!

... and no further. Burned again by Nvidia.
And then @Spoit did this:
Monster.
Thanks
Hey there's me! (This game is actually where I got my username from)
CDKeys are grey market sellers for anyone who cares. Although not nearly as scummy as some of the other grey market places.

Thanks for the reminder about it being on GP. Got it installed and I finished the first planet.
