Running music

SeñorAmorSeñorAmor !!!Registered User regular
Hi folks, I'm looking for some good, upbeat running music. My wife gave me her old bluetooth running headphones and I'm looking for some music to run to. Bonus points if it's on YouTube and I can create a playlist of a bunch of songs.

I'll pretty much listen to anything so genre doesn't matter as long as it's something I can run to.

Thanks in advance!

Apparently the BPM of the music affects how you run. Usually have a 125 BPM playlist going.

There are loads of playlists at different bpms. I use Spotify myself. But playlists are everywhere, par example: https://youtu.be/mPBf2hUnyVA

The Rocky IV soundtrack is a fantastic album to work out to.

When I`m jogging, I like listening to music from my favorite video games. I especially like the music from NFS Most Wanted. I remember getting interested in the question of how music for video games is created. With a little searching on the internet I found a solution. Either the developers have their own sound engineers on staff or they use services like Styngr. This has a library of millions of video game tracks. I think music from sports movies like Creed, Rocky is also suitable for running.

Ran a 10K the other week and when this song showed up on my Spotify playlist it felt great.

Edit: the thread is older than hell. Shoot.

Amazing synth music if you're into that style. And the creator made it royalty free/free to use.

Edit - And this if you're into the Doom soundtracks. https://youtu.be/AzfSrJXMKZ4

LCD Soundsystem, Aesop Rock, De La Soul, The Cyrstal Method, and A-Trak were each commissioned by Nike to produce an album of approximately 45 minutes to accompany jogging workouts. The availability of each release varies a bit, but its hard to think of music more intentionally tailored for an exercise run.
