The problem with Shuma Gorath is that the name itself is actually a Robert E. Howard creation from like the 1920s. The monster's depiction may be unique to Marvel but I don't know if they have the legal right to use the name in a movie. Or want to have it come up in a suit with his estate in court.

Shuma Gorath was infamously one of the characters that Marvel was steadfastly opposed to letting be in Marvel versus Capcom.
And in an extremely odd turn of events, was also one of the characters that Capcom demanded to use.
Humor can be dissected as a frog can, but dies in the process.

Doesn’t Marvel own some of those rights?
They own the design and appearance, but the name isn't 100% theirs.

So with FFH being 8 months after Endgame, that means
NWH minor spoilers nothing about story
The end of NWH has to be the second Christmas after Endgame.
Then again, that 8 month line in FFH wouldn’t be the first time Sony tried to break the MCU timeline.
I think they confirmed that is the case timeline wise.
Hawkeye is set ~2 years after Endgame, and is set at the same Christmas season. Spidey is probably like Early December for the conclusion (starting immediately after FFH though, and Hawkeye is a few days before Christmas.

This timeline does make sense, thanks to one detail.
It takes a bit of time to greenlight, cast and make a Broadway musical. No way they did that in less than 12-18 months.

I may be wrong and misremembering but wasn't the broadway musical thing basically just an already set cast from a show going hard as fuck into what was supposed to be a one off joke?

I think they mean in-universe (as a joke). Like, it would take them 12-18 months to make a Broadway show post-Endgame in the MCU.

Each Marvel Legends batch is made of several categories:
1. Stuff from the movie
2. Stuff not from the movie but two degrees of separation in the comics.
3. I dunno throw in Combo Man or some shit we need eight of them to do a proper build-a-fig set and I only have six ideas.
we're not just gonna see 2 Strange's but maybe quite a few. So far if this checks out (and it looks real) that means 3 different Strange (or maybe this is a different form of the other two?)

This would not surprise me. Also I'm still hoping we see some of the characters from What If? show up, like Captain Carter.
If anyone cares, Morbius has been pushed back to April 1.
The worst part of this is having to see that god awful trailer in front of movies and as YouTube video ads for the foreseeable future. I was already well sick of it, feels like that trailer dropped 2 years ago

I haven't really seen it enough to be sick of it yet. But also I don't know that I'm going to see any more movies until probably Dr. Strange 2 anyways, so *shrug*. And I never get this one as a Youtube ad. I WISH I did - the ads I get are terrible, like Invisalign aka the worst commercials ever made OMG please stop (the only commercials that have me applauding Youtube putting longer ads on Chromecast streaming because it means they play less often since they tend to be short)
Honestly the trailer doesn't bother me that much beyond the stupidity of them trying to cram both MCU and Sony (aka Venom) universe references together to confuse the shit out of people. I *almost* want to see the movie just to see how the hell they try to explain that shit, but I already know full well the answer is "they won't"
I didn't realize Marvel had already reached the bottom of the barrel on 100 years worth of superheroes.
It's Sony and their underwhelming wanna-be live action Spider-Man villan-verse (Not to be confused with the amazing Spider-verse film, and hopefully it's equally amazing upcoming sequel).
they're getting rid of Strange's extremely good current outfit for a more Super hero style costume.
Leaks and Speculation Dr Strange 2
that's if that is even our Strange. The Defender Strange has much longer hair. My bet is still on a multiverse variant like the Evil Strange. It would also be a nice way to slide other characters historically in The Defenders. Pet theory is this Strange is from an alternate universe where instead of the Avengers they had The Defenders.

Morbius is basically Requiem for a Dream but instead of heroin jared leto is fiending for blood
jokes aside, Morbius in the comics is about a scientist trying to cure his blood disease, discovers some vampire related 'cure', then becomes a semi-vampire that ultimately ends up trying to be 'good' and hunt 'real' vampires, usually via team up with Spider-Man or Blade. Personally I'm more interested in Blade but wouldnt mind a team up. In the comics, Dracula is almost at Thanos levels of raw power, he routinely fucks up the X-Men, so can see him being a new MCU 'big bad' for Morbius and Blade (NOTE I havent seen the new spider mans so no idea how Sony fits into it, this is just fanboy speculation not taking into account the new spider mans).

All I know is the 90s Spiderman cartoon where he's basically exactly Spiderman but with bats instead of a radioactive spider. So he has all the same vampire stuff but it's technically "bat man" rather than "I was bitten by a vampire and got turned into a vampire." And yeah, he basically teams up with Blade the actual half-vampire....

I remember Fox nixed a vampire episode of Batman: the Animated Series about that time, so I'm guessing their standards and practices department also objected to Morbius doing the blood thing.

Ah yeah, derpy doo on my part
I swear to god that's a Mortal Kombat character.

2. Stuff not from the movie but two degrees of separation in the comics.

The name might mean one thing, but that text explains it pretty well, I think.
I'm curious too, but they often make those blurbs super generic on purpose to stem spoilers these days

Oh no not Mobius the least interesting thing coming out of this latest super hero push.
What is Mobius and why should I care about Mobius
I was going to explain but I fell asleep typing.
He's a Vampire.
I think he sometimes fights Spiderman.
I've literally got nothing.

Fixed. I'd try to explain the semi part, but thinking about it makes my head hurt.
I hate that
