Hey, a new ERB! At first it seemed one ... extremely weird pairing, but that's because I am not well versed in history. There were a couple awkward rhymes, but still fairly good.
Also one of the more funny ad reads I've seen at the end of the video.
God, this thing needs a friggin' Content Warning around the 13 minute mark.
I've not even watched any of this but this post made me curious.
...every line he delivers seems like the sentient human equivalent of when old TV shows would have to edit around a dog they hadn't trained to bark on command. I mean it's the simplest language possible and I can tell that for every line they did twenty takes and that was the best one.

He's also clearly reading a teleprompter or cue card off to (his) right side, he never breaks eye contact with it.
Especially when, as the season nears its end and the villain's secret is finally revealed, they do a mic drop and recut the opening/resume one of the shots to reveal they were actually hinting at the big secret all along. Shows that alter its intro slightly to adjust for what's happening in the story are *chef kiss*

Lots of people still pan for gold up in the California hills. It's a nice make your own schedule style of making extra money to go with your meth habit.

after watching A LOT of HK martial arts movies I would probably argue that even if Jackie Chan might be the best performer Sammo Hung is probably the best director
agreed, mostly because you can't fake the status you need to have a decent time there easily
I'd totally go inside a culture gelsuit and accompanied by a knife missile, tho
Toward the imperial era you could make a decent living as a plebian if you managed to score some good land cheaply. Of course you couldn’t go into politics because you weren’t born into the right Gens, but that’s not exactly any different from now

The most important thing we should take from the Roman’s was that it isn’t gay to top

It is nearly impossible to comprehend how shitty it was to be an Iron Age farmer in Italy. Best case scenario you were growing olives, in which case congratulations, someone who liked you and was growing olives died and left you their olive trees. Otherwise you were cultivating one of the several shitty grains they had access to, all of which required scratching shallow grooves in hard soil with lightweight and horrible plows.
Good luck using your futuristic knowledge to make a better plow, if you were capable of that you would have already mastered industrial metallurgy to the point where you might as well be rifling your own guns. The ceiling on basic farming technology is terrifyingly low, there's a reason millions of perfectly intelligent people did it bad for thousands of years in a row.

I like how the deleted tweet just makes it look like you're putting the next person to post on blast for no reason.

Better than giving them to Robert E. Lee for certain.
