I will put up with some bad tunes if the lyrics are tight
I will put up with some absolute gibberish lyrics if I like the tunes, and I think that's a pretty hardcore requirement for anyone who likes game music. Or really anything from non-native English regions, I suppose.
There were many songs I enjoyed less after taking the time to follow their lyrics. Like, I really dig the melody in CTD's Mmm Mmm Mmm Mmm, but fuck are the lyrics just inane drivel.
I don't want to beat a dead horse, but Wurtz's lyrics are only stylistically nonsensical; they're actually pretty direct and logical. He just dances around the ideas he's trying to get across, similar to how his melodies takes sudden turns and little flourishes before finally resolving to the tonic.
We'll get back there someday.

I like to listen to songs in languages I don't speak and then look up the translated lyrics and see if I guessed the topic correctly.

That's what Weird Al is for! Exhibit A: Word Crimes, reusing the melody of Robin Thicke's Blurred Lines but with significantly less problematic lyrics!
I think Bill is very deep into his own style to the point where I feel like I don't need to hear a new song of his because I already "know" how it is going to go.
I tried listening to a few Bill Wurtz songs and I think I just like his History of Japan and History of the World videos and not much of the rest of his stuff.
There were a...lot of attempts to make make toku a thing in the US in the 90s. Some actually worked, some were enjoyable camp, and some, well..we don't talk about Masked Rider, no no no...

Every time I think I've accepted that I probably won't write again I'll listen to one of Red's videos and start thinking how maybe I should get a life subscription to Campfire just in case
It is. The SAT is not! Since it was literally created by IQ-citing eugenicists to justify their belief that minorities are mentally inferior. IQ was also created for this purpose. The biggest predictor of what a person's SAT score will be is what ZIP code they live in.
Naturally it was Reagan who brought them back to popularity and made them so key to the modern education system.

I am genuinely impressed by how high these boys are. They're an old car and a cloud short of a Cheech and Chong movie.
