Wow, it looks like PLAYEROUNKWMS really wants to be friends with me on Steam!
I mean, they sent me friend requests from 4 different, private and VAC banned Steam accounts!
If I accept their friend request, do you think that they will agree to vote for my CS:Go team?

Monster Sanctuary:
Lads, say hello the crew (Team gob nobbing).
Swine: The brains of the operation. Buff specialist.
Shank: Demolition expert. The ace DPS of the team, anything that doesn't die in the explosions will die from the burning damage at the end of turn.
Rob: Only exists to do water damage when Shank can't. Spends 95% of the time on the bench. Currently suffering an existential crisis.
Stick: Was put on this earth to heal the sick and infirm, I respecced turned him into a ruthless instrument of judgement with lightning storms and plagues of poison as he can only watch on in horror at my commands.
Hob: Does only about five damage but is invincible. Its literally impossible to kill him if he spams shield.
Scab: Well balanced defensive unit. When you need a tank but you still need more significant damage than pure survivability.

My observation on Trombone Champ would be that it is probably not a coincidence every 'this is the funniest game ever' clip doing the rounds focuses on the actual gameplay, and not the lol random stuff surrounding it, which seems to give off a distinct air of Trying Way Too Hard.

That's one read, but it seems to me that being slightly off with a trombone is inherently funny, and it just works out that way
Covert Actions
Vard Northborn and Regina Justitiae, working with the Reapers, developed some improvements for our materials processing in the proving grounds. Anything we make in there now will take appreciably less resources than it did before.
Our next action sent @Talus9952 and Orphane to train with the templars, to improve their cohesion. The Templar's methods did the trick, and after some further training in the AWC we expect the pair to be noticeably more effective together in the field.
Currently, Vard Northborn is training with the Templars to improve their combat intelligence.
Operation Hellish Slumber
The research team finished everything they could on their shadow chamber to-do list. To make any further progress, Tygan needed a field team to skulljack an active codex as a means of reaching the most secure areas of the ADVENT network to pull more information on the Avatar project. There was no need to wait for the aliens to come to us on this, as intelligence indicated that one of the black sites we'd been keeping tabs on had a codex stationed at it. Lux, Shivahn, @tosorak, @cooljammer00, ThatHatBoy, and @Iolo were deployed to hack that codex and demolish the site.
The codex was sighted in the first pod, alongside a shieldbearer and purifier. This actually wasn't ideal, as closing to melee as required for a skulljacking can make it difficult to avoid activating other pods. While we may have preferred to be able to attempt this after having eliminated one or both of the other pods, ThatHatBoy was able to scout ahead and ensure that we had a window to isolate this one. Once we did, Shivahn moved in and made contact. Hunter Protocol only caught the codex, unfortunately, causing it to split and putting a critically damaged copy in the squad's rear. Tosorak was able to successfully connect to the original half and access Avatar project files. This triggered a security response similar to our initial codex encounter, opening a psionic rift to send a unit to eliminate the source of the intrusion. However, instead of a codex, this was a thus-far unknown enemy. It resembled a human or hybrid, but its features were hidden by a mask and armor. It emitted incredibly high levels of psionic energy, and some squad members reported it having a psionic aura with the appearance of an Ethereal. While it is too early to say, Tygan believes this may be our Avatar. While its armor, psionics, and wetware made it shockingly survivable, it was ultimately flesh and blood. It attempted to move into cover against the squad, not realizing it was exposing itself to ThatHatBoy, well beyond the squad's flank. Our Reaper snuck up and dumped most of a magazine into the avatar's back at point blank, which was thankfully enough to kill it. The rest of the conventional pod was quickly swatted down by Iolo, Shivahn, and Lux.
With that out of the way, this was now just a normal demo op. The squad moved up on some of the black site's turrets and took them out in preparation for engaging a sectopod pod patrolling the perimeter. Contact was made earlier than we meant, unable to set up our ideal ambush and with some troops not where we wanted them, but it wasn't a disaster. cooljammer00 hit the sectopod and purifier with a blaster bomb. The latter had overextended, allowing Iolo to safely run up and rend it. Combined fire from Shivahn, Lux, and tosorak finished the sectopod. While the shieldbearer got away with only wounds, we weren't terribly concerned, as it was only ever going to retreat or pop its shield. It went with the former, regrouping with another sectopod pod holding inside the facility. ThatHatBoy already had eyes on this pod, and even better had a throwing angle on them. They lobbed a pair of claymores into the pod's midst, and Shivahn entered overdrive and made contact with a blaster bomb. This pod's purifier and mec were destroyed instantly, and the sectopod was critically damaged. It attempted to rush in and engage the squad, but only got to be finished by Shivahn's cannon. This just left the wounded shieldbearer as the only surviving defender, and tosorak closed in with an icarus launch to skulljack it for a bit more bonus intel.
With the site clear, the squad placed X4 charges and readied for the usual too little, too late ADVENT reinforcements. Lux and Iolo met the enemy right on their drop sites and cut them to ribbons in an instant. Even with footage it's unclear what exactly happened, so while we know a priest, two purifiers, a stunlancer, a trooper, and a captain were killed by Lux and Iolo, specific kill attribution isn't happening for these ones. Done mopping up, the squad extracted and detonated the charges.

also it's got a gacha because fuck me I guess that'll teach me to be even cautiously optimistic about things.
pretty sure the only gacha is cosmetics
nah it's not cosmetics it's character unlocks.
Do the characters have different stats and abilities? Because if so, yeah, that's no good. If it's just appearance of a different character with no gameplay difference, then it's still under "cosmetics", though a slightly more weasleish sort of cosmetic.

Okay, first carrier battle, I am chasing them down and....huh....they are running straight into that minefield I set earlier when I thought they were going to swarm me.
Dune Spice Wars added House Corrino (aka, The Emperor) and made some excellent real ancestors and quality of life changes. For example, militia can now defend against Incite Rebellion.

Am I crazy, or have the Vortex thing from NexusMods made it harder to install mods? I'm trying to reinstall all my mods for Witcher 3, and it insists I need some script merging tool, claims there's some conflicts and it's going to merge scripts and such, and then generates a file that it seems to expect me to know anything about. I'm using a mod manager because I have no idea what all this computer language BS does, it's always made zero sense to me. I just want it to work.

so yes there are gameplay functions behind it.
Yeah, then that's no good. Locking gameplay function behind lootbox mechanics is a straight no-go in my book.

try them and see, I guess.
Bots need to be in games (as a multiplayer alternative), but surely they don't need their own backlogs.
