1) Mr^3 loved it, and he’d play the soundtrack all the time, so the first time I stepped out onto the balcony and got that familiar mournful theme I had to lie down and weep, which feels impractical for ongoing gameplay
2) It’s so much reading and I found the prose florid. I mean I know that’s an intentional representation of the chaos of a broken man’s inner life, but it didn’t work for me.
So idk I don’t see a run in my future, which is sad, given that it is so beloved and I feel like I’m missing out
