Holy Shit if this even has a whiff of being accurate. And if true, is this just the old man throwing a huge middle finger to everyone (re: the world) who cheered his exit at being able to finally return to the product (like myself).

. . .just, gross and wildly - I honestly don't know the word I'm looking for there. Something more formal than "assholish."

At this point, outside of some small indy promotions, what bridges are left?

    Jeff does his podcast in-kayfabe.

Also using Jarrett as a jobber to the stars is hardly “becoming TNA”

It is a trip to watch mid 90s content and see Jeff Jarrett and Billy Gunn and Sting.

I'm not wild about Jeff Jarrett but he does heel work pretty well. Like I don't like watching him wrestle but I do get a sense of dread when he comes out on stage because I know he's going to take time away from the face he's feuding with and that he'll probably do something shitty to them.

And then I remember that, like, that's what a heel does.

The thing about Double J is that he’s always been more than willing to look like a doofus and let his character get comeuppance. Even at his most overpushed, he’s been cool with letting the babyface humiliate him and kick his ass. He understands what being a heel means.

His current role in AEW is perfect for him.

In a business full of scams and cons it was one of the best. He got back into power at Impact Wrestling that way, got a cut of WrestleKingdom 9 PPV by getting it on US providers, ran a bunch of shows in nearly empty baseball stadiums, and convinced a bunch of companies around the world to partner with him before he had a product. They even got a tv deal in India.

Just amazing work from Double J.

Jeff Jarrett is still a Bullet Club member in good standing

If Jay White leaves, Double J should step in and take his rightful place on the throne

A while back, way before the recent scandal, I predicted Vince would sell the company and waste the money rather than let the kids inherit it. Because he thinks he's self made, like every delusional billionaire. That's only looking more likely now.

Ah but it's only future money from advertisers, networks and other business partners who won't want to be associated with them that's wasted. He's going to get probably 5x as much selling it to the Saudis as he would any other buyer.

Vince had a very abusive relationship with his dad from what I remember and from that a lifetime of fucking others over for personal success and profit. It's unsurprising that he doesn't think about his kids the way you'd expect him to. He's probably disappointed they haven't stolen the company out from under him, but it's unsurprising he'd rather take it with him than let it live on after him. Plus he's had a lifetime of being the one in power with plentiful puppets to lord over, probably hard to get his fix from golfing.

Arguably Steph and Hunter did steal the company out from under him by forcing him out of the company like six months ago, he just took it back.

Yah, if anything, he's mad they didn't expose him to lethal radiation somehow to keep him away.

She was supposed to be at the 2020 WrestleMania weekend that got ripped from our hands so I'm so excited for this!

Now the universe just needs to give me back Konosuke Takeshita vs Yuki Ueno and Matthew Justice defending the Blackcraft Championship.
