I apparently never bothered with getting a horse in Breath because my stable is empty besides the one horse I managed to catch out of the four I tried to sneak up on and got kicked in the face. I named it Joke because it's got 2 in almost every stat and having to be the only one who failed to escape my fumbling attempts at stealth is going to be a riot for for all the other horses to laugh at.

There's so many fast travel points and getting to specific locations is usually easiest from above so i have retired my horse entirely for quite a while.

I don't even use zonai vehicles for travel, just to get to certain bizarre spots.

Just pick skytower/sky shrine and dive to where I'm going.

Thanks to TotK retaining horses from BotW I was reminded that I got the giant horse and named him Fezzik.

I sometimes bring my horse out with the towing gear. I don't bother attaching carts to it or anything, but if I spot a lost korok I can just drag it to where it needs to go.

I caught the giant white stallion in Tears and named him Hoss.

Shadow - an all black horse I snuck up on underneath a tree.
Socrates - because I thought he looked like a horse philosopher.
Jack - because I jacked them from an enemy ambush and the horse is jacked with its max pull strength.
Aurelia - golden name for a golden horse.

Haven't gotten the giant white horse yet but I'll probably name them Whitney after the tallest mountain in my state.

I found a zonai rocket piece laying about so for funsies I decided to fuse it to my shield, thinking maybe like my minecart shield it'll propel me forward like a rocket punch or something.

Anyway that's why I'm currently leaving the mesosphere in the wrong direction.

I greatly enjoy how Game Grumps name their Links, so my horse from BotW was Squackle. I then tamed Squeepins, to check out what kinds of different horse stats there were, and then I had the gold horse foisted upon me, who is now Squimp.

I also just found those weird gloomy hand things when doing the Labyrinth in the snowfields.

Now I always make sure I have one shield with a rocket strapped to it, I never thought to have a panic button before this

I named my first spotted horse Jellybean. The second horse was a black stallion with 4 stamina so I named it after my handle.

My BotW horses:

Epona
Satin (tamed black horse)
Royal Horse (I named it Blanco)
Giant Horse (I named it Ganny)
Storm (tamed blue/gray pinto)

I ended up defeating Calamity Ganon while riding Ganny because I forgot which horse I had out when I started the last battle. That was fun…not (he has basically zero speed).

Satin has unfortunately died twice (he fell off a cliff with me in BotW but I had Malanya revive him). The second time was in ToTK when I foolishly tried to charge past the Flame Gleeok on the Lake Hylia Bridge and poor Satin died pretty much instantly. I haven’t found Malanya to have him resurrected yet.

Haven’t obtained any of the special ToTK mounts yet.

Finding out horses can die from Malanya kinda makes me not want to ride horses anymore because I am the type who tries to mountain goat over obstacles and while I have a glider when I find a surprise cliff I don't think there's one for the horse.

Also I'm slightly disappointed because I gave Malanya an Endura Carrot thinking I was unlocking a Great Fairy, not a What the Fuck Is This Nightmare

Okay something's been bugging me. I've heard that there's more than one door in the game that costs hearts like the door at the beginning but I haven't found another one since then. Where are they?

I can't remember if they were just plain Horriblins, but I remember there being a lot

in the tunnels under Lookout Landing that you access from the emergency shelter. It also winds up going under the castle where I ran into more of them

I went back there remembering the ones I think you mean, and they were all black-level spawns

As with everywhere else, it just keeps spawning blue and black variants

Get the sensor upgrade, search for horriblins. Probably a cave around Lookout Landing.

Anyway, I beat the game, it's real good, the ending is solid, I imagine a 3/4 heart run is doable by crazy people but would be way, way, way, way harder than in BotW

Yeah those are all high level types under the castle. I fought them enough times to recognize them on sight now. Not because I've killed so many but because they kept killing me a dozen times every time I found a group of them.
