I watched it. Even as a fan of Snyder's previous work, I was mostly just bored. It's a bad movie.
Also why is Anthony Hopkins even in it? His actually somewhat interesting robot character is only really used for a few scenes in the first half hour and then quietly forgotten. Kinda seems to me that his scenes were cut out for the runtime for being too long.
It's a movie full of interesting ideas that somehow fails to execute on any of them in any way that's interesting to watch at all. Just an incredibly disappointing waste of the ~2+1/2 hours runtime that I'm already starting to forget, it was that bland. 🎥😐😴
If it was my first scifi movie I had ever seen I suppose I might have been more into it. So maybe I am just fucking old and have been spoiled by good Trek/Star Wars/Mass Effect writing.
Maybe younger sci-fi-curious people might enjoy it?
