now you're getting sued for breaking the NDA and need to prove that what you revealed was in fact illegal. And if it's so flagrantly illegal that you're confident you'd win that you're probably already covered by various whistleblower laws.
WA recently passed a law that made it so you only need to have a reasonable belief that what you're disclosing is illegal which helps close that gap a bit.

Yeah I would imagine that the drdisrespect stuff is concrete enough to say "torch this sponsorship", but not enough to be legally provable for whatever reason. So it gets kept quiet because whoever reveals it has a chance of eating defamation and getting shit on.
Also, from Twitch's perspective, going public with it up front isn't "Twitch takes a stand against pedophile abusing the platform", it's "major Twitch streamer with huge contract accused of using the platform to seek sex with minors", so like... the PR hit there is probably worse than his contract.
PhD level intelligence I assume means it'll be unhelpfully over-knowledgeable about a certain thing in a way that puts it at odds with every person in the field but it swears its ideas will bear out in a few decades.
