Who are some of your favourite nasty little freaks?
The weirdos in fiction who are creepy, weird and offputting but frequently memorable.
I think someone in SE++ did a thread semi-recently on a similar topic, but I was thinking about freaks today and hoped others would be too.
I'll start off with the guy that McCoy tries to get a lift to the Genesis Planet from in Star Trek III.
Four years after Yoda in Empire Strikes Back, this guy has spiky facial hair, plenty of earrings and bizarre syntax.

I recently watched Phantom of the Paradise for the first time and was delighted when Paul Williams introduces us to the future... BEEF!
Beef then proceeds to emerge from a coffin in full glam rock gear and snarls at the camera.

Jack Kirby's Fourth World Saga has a lot of nasty little freaks, but today I'm highlighting Darkseid's grand vizier-type assistant, Desaad.
He loves nothing more than torture and treachery.

I only just watched Labyrinth this year and I wholly agree with his freak status.
Salacious Crumb is a longtime freak in good standing.
I think I vaguely remember Bump in the Night as one of those kids shows on cable when I was younger. I cannot dispute the freakiness.

For some reason, I did not recall the fail end of the film - like the last 10-15 minutes.
Basically everything from Labyrinth is a good choice.
But that worm always sticks with me.

Not gonna lie -- I thought that was a Skeksis, and just nodded to myself, "Yes, good pick," but clearly I was not looking too close.
But this freak... Kuato!
Verhoven's movies really freaked the hell out of me as a kid. Between the gore and violence, dark humor and just plain meanness. You could probably find a freak in each film, really. All classic films though, mostly. The nerd trio of them anyway.
